Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is considering granting free-spending establishment Republicans and Democrats one of the top items on their wish list.
Johnson, after delivering crushing defeats to conservatives on government funding, warrantless spying on Americans, and Ukraine aid, is reportedly setting his sights on expanding earmarks.

Nah, he’s just Uniparty like 99% of them are.
People think R and D are different somehow, so when an R acts like a D they holler “He’s compromised!”.

When was he fiscally responsible? There has been very few responsible people in congress.
They aren’t blackmailed. They have also wanted more spending for their projects and purposes. They r’s and d’s love debt, and hate you. To think otherwise is foolish.

After arming and hiding my wife and kids as best I could, I’d wait for a packed chamber and then read the details of the “dark guys” and their threats into the congressional record. The freaking Speaker of the House has power to resist that evil that greatly exceeds the power of We The Ordinary People.
But Mike Johnson has proven to be a gutless cuck — he doesn’t have the courage to do the right thing. In ANY circumstance! Even if his wife and kids were never threatened at all.

Earmarks are the only effective way to impose party discipline. If you want Republicans to get our priorities passed into law, this is a good move.

For a week I’ve been tied up with a death in the family, so am not aware of this issue first hand, but ... I was told there’s some nasty criminal stuff relating to his two sons. Could it have anything to do with that?
