Please pray for my son, who is working in the oilfields in North Dakota. He has been experiencing excruciating pain in his feet. The pain doctor calls it neuropathy, but there isn't much they have been able to do for it. He is blessed with a job where he can sit frequently, but it does require his walking around now and then. They have tried surgery, powerful painkillers, and even CBD. He is strong and optimistic, but it's breaking my heart. PRAY!

It is entirely funded by donations, and provides a service no other chat forum can even come close to.There are members who have been here since 1998, and who faithfully contribute monthly. Dear Freeper Friends, can you please pray for my family? I hesitate to offer details at this time, but as soon as the prayers are answered, I will post the full story. Believe me, the need is great, in spiritual, temporal, and emotional areas.I feel such a burden for these beloved ones, and feel like I'm the only one praying for them. Please add "Liz's family" to your prayer lists. I will keep you posted. In the Name of Jesus, I bless you all.

Looking for a conservative organization similar in structure to GSA. I have seen a couple of mentions of different organizations. I have a dear friend who has been a Girl Scout troop leader for years (using old pre-PP books) but who is very disgusted with the course GSA has taken lately. Isn't there something that girls can join that will give them the life skills GSA USED to provide?

Words fail me. Not office friendly, unfortunately. (unless you can either laff quietly or you have a noisy, likeminded office...)

Please PRAY for the people of central North Dakota."The crest is going to be almost 10 feet higher than the '69 flood. The lower part of Minot is going to be underwater...The crest will be early Monday morning, so far. The levees and dikes will be over run Friday or Saturday, July 1...the crest was going to be 7 feet higher than the flood in '69. Today it has been revised to 10 feet higher. Minot is going to be a lake...It's rain, coming from Canada. They need to open up their dams and are giving people time to get...

Folks, here's the latest news on the beautiful new book about Sarah Palin. It is a full-color slipcased "coffeetable book" that would make a beautiful gift for any Palin fan on your Christmas wish-list. I just got my copy today, and it is much more beautiful than I expected. I think I mentioned it once before, but now that it has arrived, I'm even more impressed.

This is a vanity post. (BIG TIME!) This is a gorgeous coffee table book that is going up on amazon.com for pre-ordering. I have a small part in it, so I would like to tell you about it and let you know how proud I am to participate in its production.

LONDON – Online whistle-blower WikiLeaks has posted a huge encrypted file named "Insurance" to its website, sparking speculation that those behind the organization may be prepared to release more classified information if authorities interfere with them. At 1.4 gigabytes, the file is 20 times larger than the batch of 77,000 secret U.S. military documents about Afghanistan that WikiLeaks dumped onto the Web last month, and cryptographers say that the file is virtually impossible to crack — unless WikiLeaks releases the key used to encode the material.

A symbol of America's diminished standing. Even Peru is unconcerned about snubbing Hillary Clinton. Sometimes even diplomats get stood up. The stage was set for a news conference: two chairs and two microphones on a table in the ornate neo-Baroque Salon Dorado of the presidential palace; two flags, of the United States and Peru. And a gaggle of reporters and photographers stood ready, armed with their questions. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton walked into the hall with Peruvian President Alan Garcia and sat down on the chair in front of the American flag, a blue folder of prepared remarks...

For those who haven’t read my bio, my background is in collective bargaining and employee relations. I cut my teeth on the union side as an understudy to an old-time liberal Democrat trade unionist. His mantra was, “Before they do anything, make sure they think about what you’ll do about it.” After a stint in the private sector, I went to work for the State government representing the employer in dealing with labor unions. That is actually very common in both public and private sector labor relations since the union side is the best place to get good, hands on...

No, health care is not a right. Fair and balanced is not a right. Equal time is not a right. Free housing, free food, free education, free beer, etc, are not rights. Abortion is not a right. Gay marriage is not a right. “Entitlements” are not rights. In fact, no one is entitled to anything taken from others, including our tax dollars. And illegal aliens have no right to be here at all, much less rights to entitlements, free housing, free food, free health care, free education, or anything else. The rights to life, liberty, freedom of speech, freedom of...

Yesterday, Glenn Beck read this letter from a woman in Arizona. She writes an open letter to our nation's leadership: "I'm a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to...
