Good morning and thanks my fellow freepers, the 26th was my two month anniversary here at Togus Maine VA end of life hospice, quite and accomplishment and testament to CHRIST, freeper prayers, the medical staff and all. Then yesterday I received this beautiful bouquet of flowers you, my you Freeper brothers and sisters, THANK YOU.

Wow, it has been awhile. I began my association with FR around 2000. I joined up as Enough_Deceit. I remember posts by someone named Hillary's Lovely Legs. We used to joke about "Old Crusty", which was what we called Clinton's pant suits. I have been frustrated about what is going on in our country, and wanted to be among like-minded people again. At about the 2:00 mark they bring up RatherGate and how within 30 mins FreeRepublic cracked it open. Main topic is Climate but FR was brought up because of the ability of average people to do actual research.

Just about a half-hour ago when I clicked on my shortcut to go to FreeRepublic.com, a page popped up indicating something along the lines that "QANON.com" was phishing for information on FreeRepublic, and, when I continued, the address at the top now indicates that it's "dangerous" and it has lined through the "https" part of the indentification. Is something actually going on or is this something that Google is just doing to show its displeasure with a conservative website? Beloved Freeper known as Mama Dearest has passed away. I (ExSoldier) was notified via private email by her son yesterday. Sharon was a deeply devout Christian and she resided in upper Idaho with her husband, Bob. I first met her here in FR many years ago and we sort of clicked as kindred souls. Was at a mall today, bored and waiting for my wife to stop spending my money. So I tried to go onto Free Republic to pass the time. I didn’t know I was on JC Penny’s WiFi (I was not in the store).
