The sword, recovered off the coast of Israel, most likely belonged to a knight who fell into the sea or lost the weapon in battle, experts said. Shlomi Katzin attached a GoPro camera to his forehead, slipped on his diving fins and jumped into the waters off the Carmel coast of Israel, eager to go exploring. On the sandy floor of the Mediterranean Sea, he found a sword. Archaeologists would later determine that it was about 900 years old. It weighed four pounds, measured about four feet long and originated from the Third Crusade, experts said. “Oh yes, he was...

Bresnik reflected on this quiet moment, "Sometimes on a #spacewalk, you just have to take a moment to enjoy the beauty of our planet Earth. This Go-Pro footage is from our spacewalk where Joe Acaba and I refurbished the Canadarm2 robotic arm and the Dextre robotic arm extension." Some rodents are more than scurrying little mammals. Some rodents are auteurs. This brazen little squirrel director steals a GoPro camera and makes a video shot entirely from its point of view, giving us a private tour of the trees from up above. After snatching the camera off the ground, it takes off running and scales the tree, showing us a day in the life of the intrepid little explorer. Thankfully, the squirrel also had excellent manners, and made sure to drop the camera back down where the owner could easily grab it and share this visionary masterpiece.

Here's your Hump day video, in this bloody, noisy video, a hunter records footage of a crowd of hogs feeding on bait placed literally at the base of his ladder stand. After a while, he flings a spear with a GoPro camera attached. The spear hits a hog, which falls over as it should. But then it begins the bawling, slow-dying thrash-fest that most hog hunters have witnessed before. See the full video here.

Though climbing the oldest and largest of the three pyramids could result in a three-year jail term, or something far worse if he lost his footing, "I thought the photos would be worth it," Ciesielski says, per the Telegraph. Armed with a GoPro camera, "I just started climbing." He took the first few steps quickly "so nobody would follow me and take me down," he tells Business Insider. It wasn't until he was about halfway up the 455-foot structure that police finally spotted him. Ciesielski kept climbing and reached the top in about eight minutes. Spectacular images on his blog...

On the heels of the Paris attacks, ISIS issues threats against the United States. A Muslim couple highly trained and armed to the teeth, with an IED factory in their house, with GoPro cameras on board, murders 14 and wounds 17 members of a seasonal gathering in San Bernardino, and a day later no one in the media will say it’s a terrorist attack. Even on Fox, the word is “No one will say whether it’s workplace violence or a terrorist attack.” Really? Who leaves a meeting goes back home, as the killer did, gathers up his wife, drops his...

The naturalist took his GoPro on a recent trip to Alaska, only to meet a grizzly bear who wasn't as big a fan of wearable technology as the rest of us. Luckily, the disgruntled grizzly only hit the camera — not Joseph himself.
