Stop & Shop is looking to hire 50 to 75 people for full-time roles at the store’s Freetown warehouse. According to South Coast Today, the store will be hiring selectors for the 2nd and 3rd shift. Selectors choose the products to ship to the Stop & Shop stores in the region. Saddle Creek Logistics Services plans to open a distribution center in Duncan to support the expansion of a “major retail client,” according to a news release. Scheduled to open in January, the facility will create more than 150 new warehouse jobs in the area. In November Saddle Creek will hire the management team, the release said. The Fortune 100 company is creating Honeywell Robotics, an advanced technology center tasked with developing artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and advanced robotics for use mainly in warehouses. A Mexican packaging company is planning to build a new manufacturing plant in Virginia that will create more than 60 new jobs. Gov. Ralph Northam announced on Wednesday that the Old Dominion had won the $65 million project over North Carolina and Georgia. Mexico City-based Cartograf plans to build the plant in Chesterfield County. The company makes micro-corrugated printed packaging and other products.

A company that manufactures modular affordable housing has confirmed it will open a large facility in Pueblo and employ close to 200 people here. WESTFIELD — A new health care manufacturing factory is planning to build a new facility in Westfield and create more than 475 jobs. Westfield Mayor Andy Cook and Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb announced Abbott, a global health care company, plans to build the facility and employ 477 people, according to a press release from the city.
