(Newser) – You'll soon be able to drop Amazon returns at Kohl's locations across the country—no packing required. More than 1,150 Kohl's stores will accept Amazon returns by July as part of an extended partnership launched in spring 2017. About 100 stores offer the service currently. Customers need only bring packaged or unpackaged Amazon items to a store, per Fortune. Kohl's, which sells Amazon products in more than 200 stores, will then pack and send the items to an Amazon return center at no additional cost. Kohl's is filling jobs at 300 of its 1,100 US stores for the back-to-school and holiday seasons. Additional jobs at stores and fulfillment centers will come open later in the year. Walmart (WMT) , the country's largest private employer, plans to eliminate roughly 1,000 corporate jobs as it looks to boost its e-commerce business and trim costs. The jobs, mainly in the human resources department, will be cut before Jan. 31, as a result of increased e-commerce spending and rising employee wages, an anonymous executive told the Wall Street Journal. Macy’s says it is eliminating more than 10,000 jobs and plans to move forward with 68 store closures after a disappointing holiday shopping season. The department store chain also lowered its full-year earnings forecast. The retailer said Wednesday that sales at its established stores fell 2.1 percent in November and December compared to the same period last year. Macy’s Inc. pointed to changing consumer behavior and said its performance reflects the challenges that are facing much of the retail industry. Blumenshine, 27, of Lisle appeared in court this morning with her attorney, George Lenard, where she pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated sexual abuse. MILWAUKEE (AP) U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl has hired a Democratic organizer to begin coordinating his run for re-election in 2006. The Wisconsin Democrat said Tuesday that he hired Michael Teter to start putting the campaign together. Kohl, who turned 70 Monday, announced over the weekend that he is seeking a fourth six-year term in the Senate. The millionaire owner of the Milwaukee Bucks was first elected in 1988 and won re-election in 1994 and 2000. Teter was Wisconsin field director for the Democratic Party's campaign last year.

Kohl's Department Stores will hire more than a thousand new employees to staff seven stores it will open in Greater Sacramento and the Central Valley in March, the retailer said Monday.
