President Trump’s campaign announced on Thursday that it will donate to nearly 100 House Republicans up for reelection nearly three months out from the November midterm elections. Trump’s reelection campaign said that it maxed out to each of those candidates’ committees in its first round of contributions. The release didn’t specify which Republicans would receive donations from the campaign. “We donated these funds from our campaign directly to theirs as a boost to these Members of Congress so we can maintain the momentum of the Trump agenda, including record job creation and economic growth,” said Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale....

Twitter “SHADOW BANNING†prominent Republicans. Not good. We will look into this discriminatory and illegal practice at once! Many complaints. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1022447980408983552

Well, we shall see today, who has the profile-of-courage, backbone and who does not, who seeks truth, facts & honesty, and, who does not, choosing to continue DOJ/FBI cover-ups, closed doors, hidden biased information, etc. Both Democrats & Republicans should vote as one, all 425 members, to impeach Deputy Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein for failing to heed and provide information requested and required for Congressional oversight over the DOJ/FBI. Any Republican or Democrat House member that votes against impeaching Rosenstein has voted to deny the American people and the Congress of the USA, requested oversight, information & facts, who by...

Last night's Georgia Primary Runoff results is interesting to note the "turn out" voting patterns of both Republicans & Democrats. Most runoff elections feature low voter turn out, as only the die hard base voters come out to vote. Voter Turn out for Republicans was fairly active, but, Democrat voter turn out was at best rated dismal. Here are the final totals for the Governor (Republican) and two House Districts Democrats: Republican, Governor, Kemp, 406,638 votes, Cagle, 178,877 votes, Total: 585,515 votes. House District, 6, McBath, 14,285 votes, Abel, 12,303 votes. Total: 26,588 votes. House District, 7, Bourbeaux, 7,948 votes,...

Conservative: Liberals Still Don’t Get Trump Support Progressives are forever predicting President Trump’s political demise, but his support has risen by 6 percentage points since late 2017. Asks Henry Olsen at The Guardian: How do they keep getting it so wrong? For one thing, they don’t understand that “the often virulent behavior of anti-Trump partisans” has made Republicans “especially unwilling to abandon their leader, even when he stumbles.” For another, Trump’s base is far more conventional than they realize. Indeed, more than 80 percent of his vote came from people who’d voted for Mitt Romney four years earlier. And, like...

Florida Congressman Carlos Curbelo is getting ready to introduce a bill repealing the gas tax in exchange for a carbon tax. It seems rather odd the Miami Republican wants to chart this path, especially after the House GOP overwhelmingly denounced the notion of a carbon tax last week, but Curbelo isn’t backing down from his proposal. He told Miami Herald his proposal is just a “first step†in the discussion. When you ask this question in a vacuum, is any tax detrimental to economic growth? It’s usually going to be yes…But when you put it in context and you...

When Americans assess Donald Trump, a president who in many ways has broken the mold, comparisons don’t come easily. But Abraham Lincoln? That’s the startling proposition illustrated in promotional posters for Dinesh D’Souza’s upcoming film “Death of a Nation,” which contends America is once again faced with an existential crisis. In an interview with WND, D’Souza explained he is not asserting that Trump is Lincoln. “We are saying there are situations that are eerily similar, the accusations against the two men are remarkably similar and Trump can take a page from the great emancipator,” D’Souza said. The filmmaker, known for...

Instead of simply trading in one bad party for a slightly less bad one, frustrated voters need to use this moment to push for credible alternatives. Last weekend’s Politico Magazine featured an historical retrospective of the rise and fall of major American political parties during the mid-1850s. Written by professor Joshua Zeitz, a historian and one-time Democratic candidate for Congress, the piece urges “Never Trump” Republicans to give up on the GOP, cast aside ideas of independence and join the Democratic Party. While deeply steeped in historical examples and context, Zeitz presents a false dichotomy to erstwhile Republicans. “Today’s Never...

My decision to be a Democrat was never a decision. It was just expected of me. It was understood. Born into a family of Democrats, my grandfather would often spend weekends talking to me about his respect for Franklin Roosevelt and his annoyance with President Reagan. I listened and absorbed, but was not yet ready to think critically about what I was told – or to decide for myself. [snip] My parents have since turned their back on me, my wife, their grandchildren, and their extended family. Adding to this, they decided to make the maximum contribution to my Democrat...

With the 2018 midterms under way, President Donald Trump's reelection campaign and two affiliated committees entered the third quarter with a massive fundraising haul of $90 million and a steep decline in attorneys fees, which have consumed his reelection expenses since he took office. Trump's campaign committee and two fundraising committees that jointly raise money with the Republican National Committee - Trump Victory and the Trump Make America Great Again Committee - together raised $17.7 million in the second quarter, for a total of about $90 million in the 2018 cycle, according to Federal Election Committee records filed Sunday evening....

Look forget the tons of condemning words, This clown, incompetent, Assistant Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein and his cohort dancing partner, Robert Mueller have gone too far. As they both struggle to cover their butts and get themselves unraveled from the multi-million dollar farce they looted from the USA taxpayers...it is time for the Republicans in the House of Representatives to impeach this raving buffoon, Rod Rosenstein. Mueller, I do not care about him...he has sunk himself into the Obama acid swamp of failed public servants. Now, Mr. Rosenstein and Mr. Mueller, as an American Taxpayer, who has been fleeced thus...

Nearly a year after Donald Trump was elected president, the Republican coalition is deeply divided on such major issues as immigration, America’s role in the world and the fundamental fairness of the U.S. economic system. The Democratic coalition is largely united in staunch opposition to President Trump. Yet, while Trump’s election has triggered a wave of political activism within the party’s sizable liberal bloc, the liberals’ sky-high political energy is not nearly as evident among other segments in the Democratic base. And Democrats also are internally divided over U.S. global involvement, as well as some religious and social issues.

Democrats hold a massive voter lead in states that require party registration, a gap of 12 million that could be key to whether the party takes control of the House and Senate in the fall midterm congressional elections, according to a new analysis. Overall, 40 percent of voters in 31 party registration states are Democrats, 29 percent are Republicans, and 28 percent are independents, according to a new report of July numbers from the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics. The states include several with key battles over House seats such as California, New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania. The lead...

The liberal media doesn’t just reside on a different planet from the rest of us. They’re out in a separate solar system. Nay, a foreign galaxy. If not an altogether alternate universe. On today’s Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski described Peter Strzok as a “patriot . . . who loves America” and a “victim” of Republicans. Mika: “So we had this patriot, articulating beautifully what was driving him throughout this process . . . Anybody who watched that . . . and all you could really hear was a man who loves America,, who made mistakes, who is now being abused...

Democratic Rep. Steve Cohen of Tennesse tells Peter Strzok that he deserves a purple heart for how the Republicans are treating him in this hearing.

For the past several years, political pundits on both sides of the aisle have been predicting a future with a permanent Democratic majority in the United States. As evidence, they point to increasing immigration of races that consistently vote over two to one for Democrats, and to the fact that young people overwhelmingly lean left. Republicans have won the popular vote only once in the past seven presidential elections, and Texas, the jewel in the Republican crown, is forecast to go blue in a decade or two because of its growing Hispanic population. These predictions have led to jubilation among...

No need to ask twice. Done and done. The second-best line from this morning’s “View†panel about Kennedy’s retirement, per Newsbusters, came from an exasperated Joy Behar: “Yeah. Let’s have everybody a Republican. The Supreme Court, the Congress, the presidency! What is that called? Dictatorship I believe!” Indeed. The kind of dictatorship in which the dictator can’t repeal ObamaCare or even get a purely symbolic piece of immigration legislation through the House because they’re pitifully inept morons. Also the kind of “dictatorship†which, per Behar’s definition, Democrats have enjoyed within her own lifetime. Remember the 60s, Joy?Whoopi’s abortion rant is next-level,...

Facebook blocked more people from seeing posts about 4th of July fireworks in Greece, N.Y. Why? Politics and Russia. Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich says he was trying to inform as many people as possible about the free 4th of July events in the town. When he boosted the posts, he says Facebook blocked them because Facebook said they were political. Reilich posted the events on his official supervisor Facebook page where he is listed as a "government official." When he tried to pay Facebook $90 to boost the posts, so more people could see them, he says Facebook said...

Get the hook! Joe Scarborough needs to find a new shtick. His routine of endlessly repeating a given word to make his point is wearing–very–thin. On today’s Morning Joe, Scarborough’s word ‘o the day was “unhinged.” Have a look at my YouTube mash-up. By my count, Scarborough used “unhinged” 21 times during the opening segment to denounce House Republicans and President Trump.Get the rest of the story and view the video here.
