Precious Life Ministries Launches Preborn Christ

Amidst the March for Life, the new book, The Preborn Christ, was released.  For the first time ever, the life of Jesus Christ from conception as a Divine human person with a body that was a mere single cell zygote to the Resurrection is fully illustrated.  The story is told against a Salvation History background, beginning with a Passover celebration extending to Christ's Passover/Last Supper scene with an explanation of the Eucharist and His sacrifice as the Lamb of God that leads to the Resurrection.  Between the two Passover celebrations is a delightful celebration of life within the womb as lived through Jesus Christ and His telling of such to His friend Jeremiah.  Jeremiah is a little boy who had recently died in a cart accident and was brought by his Guardian Angel to Jesus at His conception.
The science of the human embryo was thoroughly checked by a bioethicist and the theology was checked by a theologian.
Former Congressman Robert Dornan (R-Cal) endorsed the book as the first authentic new approach in a long time that is brought to this struggle for a culture of life.  His comments, voiced on the podium as a scheduled speaker at the pre-March for Life rally and were simul-cast on the EWTN network.

Book Release: The Preborn Christ - A Story of God in the Womb

Featuring pictures of Jesus growing within the womb of Mary, Precious Life Ministries will be releasing a newly published book entitled, "The Preborn Christ A Story of God in the Womb."
The Preborn Christ is a beautifully illustrated and deeply moving story of a little boy named Jeremiah who is traveling to Passover with his family.  The adventure starts when a beautiful angel brings him to Nazareth.  An endearing and exciting relationship begins for Jeremiah when he meets Jesus the Messiah, who is growing in the womb of His Mother Mary.  Jeremiah falls in love with Jesus his Savior as he sees and experiences the development of Jesus' human body.  With his angel, Jeremiah stays by Jesus' side through Jesus' Birth and Resurrection and learns the truth about man's Salvation.  This story will bring tears of joy to your eyes and heal broken hearts - it is a story of God's endless and everlasting love for us.  It will be one of the greatest treasures you'll ever share with your loved ones.
The book may be ordered for  $14.00 plus $2.00 for shipping and handling through the website for  Precious Life Ministries at: www.preciouslifeministires.org
The book The Preborn Christ will be release this weekend in Washington DC amid the Annual March for Life marking the 29th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized direct abortion of the preborn.  This decision was soon followed with Doe v. Bolton, a companion Supreme Court decision legalizing the direct abortion of all preborn through the nine months, including during the birth.

Given New Look !

To mark Advent 2001, the website www.prebornchrist.org has received a new look.  This new look, brought to you by updated software, is not straying from its mission, rather will be able to better concentrate on its mission and devote much less attention to the technical aspects of running a website.
The mission is clear, to magnify the nine months Our Lord, Jesus Christ, spent in the womb of Our Blessed Lady and the Mother of God, Mary.  Also, to explore ways in which each of us may participate with Mary in seeking to be spiritual mothers to the Preborn Christ and birthing Christ into our lives and into this world.
We continue to be open to all criticisms, challenges, and suggestions on both the content and presentation of the material you will find at this site.  It remains our desire to ensure that all content is consistent, accurate and true to the Catechism and Faith of the Catholic Church.  As always, if you question any point, the smallest to the largest, please contact us right away so that we may follow-up and ensure the integrity and reliability of all material afforded to you on this website.
Know that all who stop at this site are prayed for daily.  God bless you.

No, no, no, no . . . partial birth abortion is hunky dory as far as Risky Schemer is concerned.

If you're dead set on killing children, you can twist the Scriptures any way you want to legitimize it.

Just sit back and wait - RS will justify that abomination as well.

Life begins at birth.

Oh - so an expectant mother carries around a corpse in her womb for nine months, I suppose. And then the Bible teaches that the corpse suddenly becomes alive when it's born. OK.

I suppose also that when God made Jeremiah a prophet, Jeremiah was the first prophet who wasn't human, but a ball of inanimate matter. OK.

So a person who was Caesarean-sectioned rather than born is actually a zombie and not a living person, either? So Biblically, we can just kill someone who came into the world that way, since they weren't technically born?

I know that people who try to justify murdering kids need to use some pretty farfetched arguments, but this is hilarious.

To: MEGoody,wideawake,Blood of Tyrants,
What? A kids' book has you freaking out about 'control'? I presume you would rant about 'control' issues when articles are published about books entitled "Johnny Has Two Daddies" or some other such thing. If not, then you are a hypocrite.

Then you won't be offended at all if I produce a kids' book of my own will you? After all it's just a kids' book. So let's get started:

Once upon a time in a land very near here, there were two little towns. One of the towns was called Atown. The other town was called Ztown.

The people of the two little towns were just alike. Except for one thing. The people of Ztown believed that the Bible teaches that abortion is "murder." The people of Atown believed that, while abortion is wrong, that the Bible does not teach it is murder.

Because the people of Ztown believed that abortion is murder, they passed laws to make sure no one ever got an abortion in Ztown.

The people of Atown, though not liking abortion at all, did not pass laws against abortion. They knew that if they did, their own daughters would go to very dangerous places to get abortions. For they also knew that no matter how many laws are passed, people will sometimes still seek to have abortions. Or even worse, try to give them to themselves.

One day the people of Ztown discovered that some of their daughters were sneaking into Atown to have abortions. The mayor of Ztown and all the councilmen and church people were very upset about this. So they called a special meeting with the people of Atown.

"People of Atown," said the mayor, "We believe the Bible says abortion is murder. We believe what you are doing is wrong. Our daughters are sneaking over here to have abortions, and this must stop at once!"

The people of Atown said, "We do not like abortion, and do not approve of it. But we do not believe the Bible says it is murder. However, in respect to your beliefs, we will erect a large wall that will prevent any of your daughters from entering our city to obtain abortions."

The mayor of Ztown, the Ztown councilmen, and the Ztown religious leaders thought this was an excellent idea. They all left the meeting and went home satisfied and content with the agreement. For a while.

The wall was erected as agreed, and none of the daughters of Ztown could get abortions in Atown. But the people of Ztown began to murmur and grumble about the people of Atown.

"People of Ztown," said the Ztown religious leaders, "How can we remain content as long as our neighbors have not outlawed abortion as we have? Surely we have the mandate of God to do something about it, for we claim as our authority the Bible, the word of God, which we all agree says that abortion is murder. We have justification to dictate what a woman can do with her body, because we believe that the fetus is a murder victim. Right?"

The people of Ztown all answered in a shout, "Right!"

So, one moonlit night, the people of Atown were awakened by a clamor at the gate of the wall they had erected to appease the people of Ztown. They were surprised to see all the people of Ztown, including the mayor, the city councilmen and all the religious leaders, standing at the gate, and they were holding torches and rakes and hoes and pitchforks, and making loud angry sounds.

"You must outlaw abortion immediately," cried the mayor. "You must do as we say about this, for we have moral authority to compel you to stop committing murder!"

"What moral authority?" asked the people of Atown.

"The Bible," said the Ztown mayor. "The Bible and science!"

The people of Atown replied, "Since 'murder' is a moral issue, not a scientific one, the opinion of science is moot. And it is our firm conviction based on our study of the Bible that abortion is not murder. We also know that people will have abortions no matter what, and we will not have our daughters going to dirty, dangerous places to have it done. We will not outlaw abortion."

The people of Ztown were outraged. They cried "Murderers! Murderers!" at the Atown gate all night, even cutting themselves with knives in their rage until the rising of the sun.

Then they went home to discuss what they might do to force the people of Atown to do exactly what they wanted them to do.

At first they sent many letters to the people of Atown, letter that were filled with threats and gruesome pictures. They sent long writings from their own religious leaders arguing their position. They sent comic books and made-up stories to try to persuade the people of Atown. They put up signs in Atown. They tried to threaten and bribe the politicians of Atown. Still the people of Atown would not do what the people of Ztown wanted.

Then the people of Ztown tried to get the king of all the land to send armed troops with guns to force the people of Atown to pass the law they wanted. Though they sent many gifts to the king, the king refused.

So the people of Ztown sent Rudolph the Bold-faced Bomber to destroy people and property in Atown. They thought it was okay to send Rudolph, because they believed they were fighting for "innocent unborn children" who they believed were being "murdered."

So Rudoph the Bold-faced Bomber murdered several Atown people who he thought were involved in abortion. And he killed a few lesbians too, just for good measure.

Still, the people of Atown would not pass the laws the people of Ztown wanted. Then, on the next full moon, the people of Atown were awakened once again by a clamor at the gate.

The people of Ztown were there again. Only this time, instead of rakes and hoes and shovels, they were carrying guns.

"People of Atown," they cried, "You must stop murdering babies at once or we must kill you! For the children!"

The mayor of Atown stood atop the wall called out, "People of Ztown! Please, you know that we are content to allow you to live in peace in your community according to your own beliefs and laws. We do not impose our beliefs on you or your children, and we even erected a wall to prevent your children from coming over here."

The mayor of Atown continued, "Now we believe we have the same moral authority for what we believe as you do. Yes, we are in disagreement over what that authority says. But we are content to leave you in peace about it. Please leave us in peace."

As the word "peace" left his lips, a shot rang out, and the mayor of Atown clutched his stomach, bent over, and fell from the wall.

And so began the long, bloody war between Ztown and Atown.

The end.

What's your personal issue with abortion?

As to the Bible, what you do with it is your responsibility. But don't lie about it. It is clear in its teaching: life begins at conception.

Your argument is that women are going to act irresponsibly and then murder the baby, so to keep them from ever having to be responsible, we just should make it legal.

You continually accuse Christians of "forcing" their principles on you while at the same time you shove your twisted, sick, self-serving beliefs down our throats! You are Satan's spawn to misuse tiny portions of the Bible to support the murder of the most helpless. Jewish law prohibits abortion, you fool.

"...it underscores the danger of letting any group co-opt the powers of federal government to impose its idea of what the Bible (or any religious text) says on others --"

What an irrationally worded argument.

So, from the moral of your little "children's story" your answer to "Abortion is Murder!" is "Anti-abortion is Murder!"

Amazing. Simply freaking amazing.

Wow. You're weird.

An incredibly asurd judgment considering the bizarre, too-strange-to-be-real article that leads off this thread that, evidently, you think is perfectly reasonable or rational.

I've read your nonsensical article before. You're the liar, you Bible-rejecting heretic. You reject the Hebrew Masoretic reading to prove a point that isn't even there. It was a miscarriage in the passage -- her fruit has departed --, and you know it. The judges determine the compensation for the miscarriage -- and notice it's compensation, not DEATH that's called for (as it would be if it were murder). The judgment following that has to do with whether or not the woman is harmed. Read it. Exodus 21: 22-25:

If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

It's as clear as the nose on your face. To everyone except a Greek or Hebrew "scholar," (who of course doesn't hesitate to change the reading to suit his or her own doctrine). Which I assume you claim to be.

(If that last part is about a baby, when was the last time you saw a baby born with TEETH, except perhaps Jethro Bodine on the Beverly Hillbillies?)

Watch who you call liar, liar.

Nice. Now let me see that big Christian smile.

And while you're showing the love how about giving chapter and verse on that "Jewish law."

Oh, bring it on. Call in the reinforcements. My back hurts and I'm grumpy and spoiling for a fight.

Bring it on!

Convince me how much better and different it is for single-issue religious conservatives to have federal government guns to impose their will than it is for liberals to have federal government guns to impose their will.

I'm all ears!

"What twisted lengths single-issue theocrats will go to to advance their agenda -- total dictatorial control of all human beings."

I don't think anyone posting here wants a theocracy. We just don't care for children being executed without due process; without his or her constitutional right to legal counsel or his or her right to a fair and speedy trial to determine guilt or innocence. What we have now is a form of dictatorship. A woman can dictate the life or death of her unborn living human and say, “Off with your head”. For almost 200 years, we didn't have legalized abortion in our country and no one was guilty of cramming religion down a woman's throat. Now for the past 30 years, we are guilty as sin for saying abortion is murder. As a matter of fact, GEE…..we did just fine without legalized abortion all those years didn’t we? Now we’re all going to hell in a DIAPER BAG.

Abortion is more than just a dead baby. It’s a bad attitude. It has given permission for casual sex with dozens and dozens of partners. What follows is rampant sexually transmitted diseases, unwanted children left to die in a bathroom during the prom, broken homes, lives of guilt and regret. Women in so much grief over their abortion 10 years before, they can’t be a good mother to the children they have now and have terrible problems bonding with their spouse. These women endure severe depressions and long term indescribable grief. etc, etc, etc and on and on we can go.

And I've got news for you, MOST women who get abortions don't want them, they just THINK they do because they are in a panic and they are in shock. After all is said and done, MOST of them REGRET their CHOICE. Many of them are pressured by a boyfriend or a parent to make the CHOICE they want them to make. This is CHOICE? I say we need laws to protect WOMEN and CHILDREN from this very bad and painful CHOICE. Need I mention the fathers involved who have no say in their child's life or death status? If we did away with abortion, most women would keep their unborn HUMAN, give birth and get on with a JOYFUL life. Giving birth and being a mother really isn’t as bad as the Feminazi culture would have us believe.
