She had told me, that when she was a child, they thought that if you chewed the host wafer, blood would run out of the corners of your mouth. hehehe

Yuck lol..

Did you use real wine in your service as they used to?

Yes, it was real in teeny weeny little glasses I didn't even know existed... I'm not sure if there was a grape juice option or not.

I take it, then, that your own church teaches that abortion is not okay?

That's right, and if a Pastor gets involved in sexual sin, HE is not sent off to find new victims elsewhere. He is defrocked. This method works, something that all churches should try.

She's got her Son's ear...
Don't you?

Me? I've got ahold of the hem of His garment!

I do to. It took a little "test-driving" for me to get the hang of it, but I think it is much more user-friendly.

Iowegian, would you say something profound for me...

I don't know how profound it was, but you can take credit for #10 and 18, they got the blood flowing around here anyway. :-)

Boy, I log off for the evening and then when I check back in later you guys have moved to a whole new thread!

Did we all decide to up and move while Dave was gone? You know he will find us eventually.;^)

Well, I love what you guys have done with the place. I'll be checking back in later, but now it is bedtime.

G'night Story.

Where, how to find it, is it there.....sheesh....I've been quoting all over the place tonight: "His word gives light: it gives understanding to the simple." Ps 119:130

I need a little light....like maybe a tungsten arc!!!!!

Yes, it was real in teeny weeny little glasses I didn't even know existed... I'm not sure if there was a grape juice option or not.

The minister commented on it first, he explained that the unleavened bread was to represent pure bread that hasn’t been puffed up with sin (leavening) yet, which is a germ reaction or in a sense contamination working in the dough.

The grape juice is used because the scripture said "The fruit of the vine", and not specifically fermented wine, and the fermentation process is the same type of contamination in the wine, as the leavening is in bread dough, so they prefer it to be pure fruit of the vine, and not defiled in any way.

Personally, it doesn’t matter to me, but I thought his comments were interesting.

Lol, when she's resurrected the same time as your are hopefully, she’s going to be surprised to find you hanging on her hem, but personally, I’ll go with Christ, I know he's already up there. (^g^) JH

I was kind of wondering about that...have you ever seen any indication that the last supper was using unleavened bread?

LOL! Somebody better tell them to set their "Latest" page to 'Articles' rather than 'Posts'.
