Faith always has to have an object. My faith is in the Word of God and the God of the Word which says in Mt 24:26:

"Wherefore if they shall say unto you . . . he [Jesus] is in the inner chambers, don't believe them".

Your magisterium has its believers convinced that Jesus is in those inner chambers on its altars. Jesus said: "don't believe them". So why do you believe [have faith in] those who Jesus said not to believe?

This helps to set the record straight by dividing it into
    understandable dispensations -- Thanks.

Blah --Blah -- Blah -- if you are the most progressive, what
does that say about the rest. Your bluff was called and
you showed your true colors. I'm finished with you now,
you're dismissed === so go bark up some other tree.

Is that a YES or a NO? Ten minutes ago you called me a liar
as if they are somehow impossible to get. Now I am calling
your bluff --- YES or NO? Put up or Shut up.

Would you believe me if I told you that I could have a freshly consecrated wafer by 9:00 tomorrow morning?

Sentiment, TM -- sentiment for someone very close whose dedication to this exceeded any ten freepers in your Catholic Forum, and yet despite that, he died not with Jesus' name on his lips but Mary's, calling out to her to receive his soul. It is a memento that I keep in his communion container, a perpetual reminder of the many conversational arguments that we had over whether it was bread or flesh. It is a remembrance of a man dedicated to something that turned out NOT to be what he trusted in for his salvation. It is a memorial of a man who thought that he did not need the Word of God in his heart because he had the body blood, soul and divinity of God in his stomach. It is a memory ---

And now you want me to relinquish my memento --- is that the Catholic definition of a "gift" --- a present with strings attached == the Church giveth and the Church taketh back. Nowhere was there written on it any disclaimer that if it was not eaten, it had to be returned or if it turned into stale bread, it had to be brought back.

That little piece of wheat wafer is being what it was grown, ground, and manufactured to be -- a simple piece of bread now turned stale. No consecration or magic words changed that. Despite all the pressure in the Church to try to be what it is not, it is now and has been free to be what God intended it to be -- a remembrance, a memorial, a piece of bread that brings back memories, some good, some bad.

Now TM, to you. Your CF has called me a liar -- that 's fine. Now prove it. I dare you or any of your forum to step up to the plate and prove that Woodkirk is a liar. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 says: "PROVE ALL THINGS". An accusation has been made -- prove it. Go to Mass, pick up a host and test it. Prove to yourself and others that the host is the flesh of God, or better yet, the more simpler task, prove that there is no bread in it after its consecration. It is easy to do -- I dare you to prove what your church claims to be true or false. It is provable -- do it.

In the meantime I will continue to treasure my little piece of stale bread as a remembrance of one who died. And the next time that some poor soul posts another feloniously offensive story of the Miraculous Eucharist of Lanciano that bleeds all over the plate, I trust that you will remember Woodkirk's Wheat Wafer -- the real substance behind the magisterium' ludicrous claims. If you doubt it, prove me wrong -- I challenge you.

British Israelism claims that the throne of David was transferred to the British Isles at the time of the Babylonian Diaspora and as a matter of fact, the heralds of Britain claim that the British Throne is actually the throne of David by virtue of their alleged possession of the Stone of Scone. At her coronation Queen Elizabeth was crowned "Queen of thy people Israel" --- amazing claim.

Using the same reasoning as OP's, the British Israelists claim that the Messiah can't rule from Jerusalem and won't because the throne of David is now in Britain. That is why there is so much anti-Israeli sentiment in many places in the British government.

What makes a host in a communion container in my possession any more blasphemous than that supposed miraculous Eucharist of Lanciano that was posted here on FR? My post to Cap'n Crunch was a response to his posting this alleged miracle of Lanciano. Did that communion host undergo scientific analysis before it was proclaimed a miracle? Surely the same courtesy extended to that one suspected miracle should not be denied to any other suspected miracle? Or is there a double standard here, sitetest?

I have a host that was not stolen or received under false pretenses and has been kept in a container per ecclesiastical rules and yet it doesn't look anything like the host of Lanciano? So who is holding the real miracle? How come mine doesn't look like Lanciano's? Could it possibly be just stale bread? Is that what upsets you?

Am I not in compliance even with your ecclesiastical rules
if I keep the bread in a blessed communion container, like
the ones used by multitudes of Catholics who bring the wafer
back home with them? What makes you think that I am mistreating
the bread any more than what was done to the Miraculous
    Eucharist of Lanciano?

Was that Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano scientifically verified ?
Don't tell me that scientific tests were performed on an
Aristotelian substance in full violation of those mystical laws of
    Transubstantiation?

I abducted nobody -- are you accusing me of kidnapping along with everything else? It is stale wheat bread. If I have it retested and it turns out to be just stale wheat bread, is there anything wrong with keeping it? Afterall how common is it to find a consecrated host that is still only wheat wafer? This has to be a miracle --- right?

What upsets you most, Tantrum, the fact that I would receive it and keep it, or if I had received it and eaten it?

King James did not involve himself in the translation of the King James Bible. He sanctioned it and stepped aside.

But in the RCC, homosexual and pederastic priests are presiding over your Mass and laying hands on your Eucharist -- and you have the nerve to speak of sacrilege and blasphemy. Who are you kidding --- ?

If you like I will have another one by this weekend. Why are
you afraid of me having one of these? Are you afraid that your
faith will be shaken with a scientific analysis? If your
faith cannot overcome a scientific analysis, then what good is it?
