>> Do I detect narcissistic, arrogant, smugness under that five word sentence?

LOL!! Why, I do believe that you DO. Imagine THAT, and from a Lib, no less. INCONCEIVABLE!

Let history record that 20060130 was a GREAT day in America!!
Let history also record that the next day was even BETTER!!

[All ahead "gloat", here.]

I have not read the entire thread, but I gotta tell ya' that watching Uncle Teddy show his abundant arse, today, was absolutely priceless. I thought (dare I say "hoped"?) that his melon-sized head would explode: BAM!!!

Seriously, I worry that some moonbat in a position of power will do a little more than leak classified info to the NYT. I fear that next time they'll leak it Iran, Syria, North Korea, Russia, China... (one or all, take your pick) They're not just going to sit back take this defeat, they won't. If they can't destroy this country from within, they'll try a little 'scorched earth' on their way out. And I fear it will cost many of us our lives.

I'll bet he'd cry real hard if a daughter of his had a pro-choice moment with one of his grandkids.

Maybe. Just maybe. If the grandchild happened to be a month or two old.

No, darn it. I carried the stench over here, I'm very sorry. I've learned my lesson-- perhaps I should restrict myself to only visiting once a week.

Next time wear the FULL biohazard suit and follow ALL the decontamination protocols.
It's important. We don't want to have to clean and burn all the FR servers.

"...did you really become a freeper to monitor du?"

Nope. If I only wanted to do that, I could just lurk on DU. But I actually had a DU logon at one time, waaaaay back when I thought that it was actually possible to discuss things with them rationally. But when they started accusing me of being a freeper, I decided to come over here and check things out. I started out with the DUmmie FUnnies and have been slowly branching out.

Nobody is worried about them for crying out loud! We aren't stupid over here, you know. It's just great fun watching them implode! LOL

"I thought that it was actually possible to discuss things with them rationally"

LOL! It's time to let it go. Seriously, they aren't worth it. They add nothing to the debate. Just don't even bother anymore, you know their game plan, it's all Bush's fault, no matter what. I have a sil who's a rabid lib, we've stopped talking. It's just not worth brain cells to think about liberals.

And now a word from our REAL Sponsors of Free Speech

The Men and Women who serve,
and have served, our country
are the ones who make sure that
the Politicans and Judges are free to do their job.

We would not have a US Supreme Court
without the protection of the Military.

Politicans and Judges are safe
because of the Military who protect them.

TEST : Call your Senator or Congressman's office
AFTER 5 PM, or on the weekend.
IF you speak to an actual person, ask who's in charge today?

Now look up the phone number
of your local military base.
Call that number 24/7
and ask the live voice you get
to speak with the person in charge.

Send a Thank You while you enjoy your Freedom also.

You will stay right where you are on the thread.
Please take a moment and Thank a Service Man or Woman.

Just wanted to say that I really do think that the Miers nomination was a blessing in disguise. I thought that she wasn't a bad choice, but the wrong choice. I thought I was fairly well read but I really learned a lot about Judges and the Court during that time.

Conservatives on the web and on talk radio were really make their case about judges who will not legislate from the bench. I heard so much about judicial restraint, judicial philosophy, the history of the Supreme Court, the biographies of former Justices, and the founders. I thought I knew a lot but found out I didn't.

When I saw Rush on Greta that one night I marveled!! They were actually discussing the qualifications of a Supreme Court nominee and hardly ever said the "abortion" word. That's a debate the Dems could never get in on. I think that the public really got an education about how important the Supreme Court really is.

the MSM in their effort to try and bash Bush even paid attention to Conservatives. Their message got out without a pro-abortion-pro life shouting match.

As soon as Alito was nominated the education was over, and is was back to "back room abortions, bigotry, and gay marriage" "Bush lied people died, Halliburton"(or Vanguard)
So - thank you George Bush and Harriet Myers.

The DUmmies think every week they have something new on President Bush that will get him empeached.
They will keep on trying and failing up until the day President Bush leaves office 1-20-2009. Then and only then will the DUmmies realize they never had a chance to cut his Presidency short.
