They just can't get over it. The DUmmies are STILL crybabying over their failure to prevent the airing of "The Path to 9/11." Their pouting has taken the form of self-pitying despair as you can see in this DUmmie THREAD titled, "I hate to say this.... But we are truly powerless in this country...." Well, I hate to say this, DUmmie, you you're right. Everything the DUmmies attempt seem to blow up in their faces including their failure to keep this movie from airing. Most likely their attempts boomeranged on them. As Rush Limbaugh said yesterday, Robert Iger of ABC was on the verge of pulling this movie but the threats made by the Left and the Democrats to pull ABC's broadcasting license caused him to react angrily against this blatant pressure. Iger knew that pulling the movie after these public threats would make both him and ABC look weak so he then had no choice but to go ahead with airing the movie. Had the Left been more diplomatic in their efforts to remove "The Path To 9/11" from the air, it might have been a different story. However, as we have seen, the Left has been acting like thugs in recent years so any diplomatic niceties are now beyond them. So let us now watch the DUmmies wallow in their own self-pitying powerlessness in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, noting that the DUmmie "Google Bomb" plot against this movie also failed, is in the [brackets]:

There were NO EDITS! Not from what we saw. The entire show focused on the lost attempts to capture Bin Laden, all during the Clinton Administration. Hopefully, tomorrow will focus on the failed Bush Administration, but I'm not holding my breath.

I am not a defeatist person, but I share your grief at the current state of affairs in our country. It just all seems to be going in the wrong, direction, the fights seem futile...I thought that the pendulum swung, hit the right hand barrier and was heading back, but not enough of our public either thinks (or is capable of thinking) or cares.

Ironic you should point that out. 23 years ago my wife threw a surprise 40th for me. She was hostess at a restaurant frequented by our corporate people and invited many of them, including the president, VP's, etc. She asked our Industrial Relations manager to get me there. Well, he invited me, and I showed up. Except, he wasn't there yet (in the bar, the party, unknown to me, was in a banquet room). I waited 5 minutes and left. Instead of going home, I went into town and wandered the streets for a couple hours because it was 'sidewalk sale' days in our town.
No one could find me. The IR guy was out scouring other bars thinking I'd stopped for a drink. Wrong! Our VP of mfg. told my wife "Nice party Julie, too bad Jim couldn't be here".
I finally went home and our son immediately called his mom. My boss and the IR man (all the worse for hitting those bars) came over, hauled me out of the house, and brought me to the restaurant. By then only half the people were still around. To this day she swears she'll never do anything like that again.
You're right. There's always something to go wrong. It's doubtful, IMHO, that anyone who rises to the level of POTUS, or serves directly under him, would be so stupid as to plan and execute such a thing.
