Clint Eastwood thinks political correctness has ruined society’s sense of humor. And he was just warming up. He also accused younger generations of wasting their time trying to avoid being offensive.

He told the Daily Express that he should be able to tell harmless racial or ethnic jokes without being branded “a racist”...

That would be why I love Clint Eastwood: He says what he means and doesn’t really care who likes it.

It would have been hilarious for him to continue, "Like for example: Why do Mexicans..."

He is probably getting heat from his remarks in Gran Torino, which is a great movie.

It is a great movie. My wife is a Clint fan and said that she was a little put off with his remarks re race in the movie.

I told her that she had lived in PC California too long. Her brothers back home in the MidWest could have been real life models for Clint in the movie, Gran Torino. She started to argue, and I said, "Do we want to call their wives and the wives of your 3 dozen male cousins back in the Midwest to verify what that their men could be Clint in real life. She grinned and shook her head no.

Her younger brother, a Nam Vet, at age 65, still works in a manufacturing plant. He has his old Gran Torino, the Slope back, one similiar to the one in the picture below. He built a special garage to store it and his Harley.

I must be the only one around here who thought the movie sucked. Standing up to the gangs was mildly entertaining but that was about it.
Clint’s character was a bad cross between gunny Highway, Josey Wales(spitting) and Dirty Harry. Not even remotely likeable. Seen it before. Might be the only Clint movie I’ll never watch again.

The beautiful irony of it all is that Clint is married to an accomplished and absolutely stunning Hispanic woman named Ruiz. Go ahead, you idiot lefties, and call him a racist.

I enjoyed the movie a lot, but not coming from the USA, I saw it less as a conservativism movie than as a very funny “Reverse Karate Kid” with Dirty Harry instead of Mr. Miyagi and a nice twist on the end.
