I will say it again, Gov. Palin desperately needs to get some better PR people, or start taking the advice of those she already has. She should not have commented on this at all.
But, hey, that's just my comment.

Palin’s response considered “Lashing out” by trailer trash, she is equated with a Jerry Springer type guest with screaming and hair pulling but when you finally get to what Palin said, which was really what was said by a spokesperson, we read the following.
Bristol did not even know Levi was going on the show. We’re disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention, and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship,” says the statement from the Palin family rep.
“Bristol’s focus will remain on raising Tripp, completing her education, and advocating abstinence,” the statement continues. “It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well being of the child.”
The statement ends, saying, “Bristol realizes now that she made a mistake in her relationship and is the one taking responsibility for their actions.”
That seemed like a classy response to me. The author of the article is the one who went for the salacious and the sleaze factor. He repeated all the sleazy content that came from Bristol and tries to associated it with Sarah.
This hit piece is one long irrational accusation that is worthy of Joseph Goebbels. It is Anti-conservative propaganda.
I hope Sarah never shuts up.

I didn’t know the boy had walked away from Bristol. When did that happen? How did I miss it, since obviously the Death Cult are ecstatic?
I tend to agree. If other people start acting like lowlife scum, and they'll get plenty of invitations if they're close to the Palin family, then she and her family need to chill bigtime, since powerful people are trying to smear stuff on them very, very diligently.

One day maybe she’ll learn that you can’t respond to every slam that someone chooses to send their way. When you step in the spotlight and get the celebrity status then you either accept the slams and stay above the fray or lower yourself into the fray with responses. She needs to learn to stay above the fray and shut the hell up....

Have you seen how many slams she’s had? She’s hardly responded to every one.
People magazine is widely-read and cited and if they asked for a comment, I’m glad she provided such a classy one. Staying out of the fray is why more than 50% of Americans believe Congress was run by Republicans for the last 8 years, and why so many people even today still believe that everything that is happening is ONLY because of George W. Bush and the Republicans, as if they were only the ones in power for the last 30 years.
I’d love to have a leader who knows how to defend her family as well as this country, wouldn’t you? Beats the heck out of an apologist.
I hate to say it but Sarah Palin has zero chance of becoming president as the vicioius media will continue to tear her to shreds. Their never-ending hostile publicity will chase votes away. She may have better luck in the U.S. Senate.

I would bet on Palin to overcome any of the vile thrown at her. We were reminded on FR recently that Reagan was also continually vilified by the MSM ....and believe it or not...I also think one day, one day some will even come around about Bush after a few years of Obamas Socialist agenda!!!

Very high compared to what? They probably have the highest marriage rate too. I think that the divorce rate would be higher in demographic groups that at least make an attempt at marriage, compared to the groups that give us the concepts of the “baby daddy”, “single mother” (not divorced mother, or widowed mother), “Heather has two mommies”, and living with your girlfriend who is also the mother of your children.
