GOP Rep. Neugebauer: Obama has Never Produced a Birth Certificate
Politics USA ^ | 6/23/09 | Some libtard

Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-TX) was on a Texas radio station yesterday where here explained his support a Republican floated bill which would mandate that all presidential candidates file birth certificates with the Federal Election Commission. When asked about Obama about Obama’s citizenship he said, “I don’t know.” Perhaps he needs to visit FactCheck.org.

Here is the audio courtesy of Think Progress:

Neugebauer was asked about the birth certificate bill. He said, "You know that is a Constitutional requirement, and when office holders go whether it is a city council, or a state rep or a United States congressman, there are certain requirements that they must meet, and you know there was some question in the last election, about both candidates, so why not just have that candidate furnish documentation that says that this particular individual is a natural born citizen and then all of these questions aren’t lurking out there. It doesn’t apply to the last election. Some people think it is a bill to throw out Barack Obama, it’s not. It’s saying in the next presidential election let’s make sure that presidential candidates meet the Constitutional requirement.”

The APPC '...is funded primarily by the Annenberg Foundation.' (emphasis is mine)

I think everyone should pay attention to those small, key words found in such statements. Although APPC claims much, in the end their funding is 'primarily' from the foundation, but not exclusively from it.

‘I think everyone should pay attention to those small, key words found in such statements’

The Annenberg part was what really caught my eye. Wasn’t The Ice Cream Man part of something called The Annenberg Challenge? I believe he got $150 million to play with, and the schools targeted in this challenge actually got worse? It seems familiar, but I could be wrong.

“Why is it that since the 1960s, we’ve had all of these non-NBCs showing up on the ballots as presidential candidates?”

Because the more who run, the better the chance one slips through the cracks. Once THAT happens, there is precedent to continue the practice.
This one fell through the Grand Canyon!

Yes, and by passing this, it still throws a little light on the fact that Obama HASN’T shown he is constitutionally eligible. So I’m glad this is coming up.

Forgive the long paste from the linked article..but here is what I don't understand..I am not a lawyer..yet I don't know of any U.S. court that would allow documents to be entered as evidence based on someone's word when we can see the document ourselves..just because someone has "touched it" etc..just doesn't ring true..why has obama spent millions defending lawsuits when a twelve dollar sheet of paper can stop them dead in their tracks???..and besides..who the hell is factchecks.org???

Didn't you know? Apparently a websites say so is MORE than enough evidence that someone is legally qualified to be the President. I would love it if these same reporters said "Of course he's not qualified to be President. Didn't you see Freerepublic.com?"

FactCheck.org continues to refer to Obama’s Certification of Live Birth as Obama’s “original birth certificate.”

FactCheck.org has never seen Obama’s original birth certificate.

I’m not sure. Here in Kansas there was mention of it a few years back along the lines of how schools in Kansas City, Kansas, got their money from the Challenge, but Kansas City, Missouri, did not because they had failed to meet the stated goals. For years the KCMO schools have been failing miserably and the article used the Challenge as a means to criticize the KCMO schools system.

Well done Possum, great Cartoon.

That’s eggzactly correct, except that he was already ‘graced’ with that 10 hour Island “power outage” last December, and likely doesn’t really need lil’ Kim’s help!

You got there before me. The other day, I had to pull out my real American birth certificate from 1960. It had a HELL of lot more information on it that ozero’s “certificate”. As for the people who sneer at the “birthers”, hey where there is smoke.....
Why is he spending millions on lawyers to keep this under wraps? He could end it in ten minutes by having ANOTHER press love in and give out copies. No problem. And when you combine that with his constant lying and his media covering for him, of course we are suspicious. What really puzzles me is talk radio’s reluctance to even talk about this. Can’t figure that one out.

For humor to be truly funny there needs to be an element of truth. Apparently some people believe that ozero is willing to sacrifice American lives to cover up his problem. Real cynical of you. Count me in.
