This is an example of the difference between Rush and Beck. Beck makes the argument how republicans (in power) act like democrats. He also makes the argument that Republicans need to lose from time to time. The incremental “lesser of two evils” argument, example McCain vs Obama, has a major flaw.

The way Republicans and Bush apologists get around this is to say “Obama is a Marxist, a Communist, a Nazi and a Stalinist so republicans HAVE to win all the time”.

There is a great deal of difference in voting for President as opposed to other races.

The “lesser of two evils” arguments has unique applicability at the presidential level.

RE :” The “lesser of two evils” arguments has unique applicability at the presidential level.

I was thinking about “ What if McCain had won instead of Obama? ‘ . Tea parties?? No!.... Pelosi unpopular ? No..... Democrats getting blame for the economy? No....Republicans responsible for everything bad ? Yes!

So what would McCain do? Let's say McCain vetoed the first stimulus bill congress sent to him maybe a 2T $ stimulus....with unemployment rising, not a pretty picture. So let's say he cut a 1T $ stimulus deal with Pelosi like Bush did in Spring 2008 maybe after a veto ... so the debt goes up, and unemployment too. Further 'proof' that capitalism has failed.

It should not be hard to imagine this after the previous two years.
