U.S. Senate Republicans Outed: Their Mere 'No' Votes Are 'Yes' Votes for Obamacare

Investigating Senate Republicans along with Obama - their cover is blown

The Republican U.S. Senators have it in their power to use legitimate parliamentarian means of preventing the Soros-Obama-Pelosi-Reid healthcare takeover bill. That is the astute and well reasoned revelation of Erick Erickson, of the political blog, RedState.com.

His article is linked here and called: "Fight."

Tonight's "Awakening" guest, J.B. Williams, of the newly formed electoral action operation, "FreedomForce.US" underscores this with his 12/13 op-ed piece, "Open Call to Congressional Republicans."

Mr. Erickson posits:

The Senate, unlike the House of Representatives, has parliamentary rules and procedures that give the minority the ability to stall legislation. In fact, unlike the House, the minority have the ability to virtually paralyze the Senate. Doing so is not something we would want or expect for every bad bill that comes through Congress, but the proposed healthcare legislation is probably the worst piece of legislation ever considered by the United States Congress. It is the most intrusive, most damaging, most costly, most dangerous bill to the economic and personal freedom and liberty of individual Americans that Congress has ever considered. If there is any bill that deserves being stopped by shutting down the Senate, it is this one.

There are a whole series of parliamentary maneuvers that could be used by Republican senators to stop this bill. There is a hard backstop to the current process (Christmas). The Republicans’ goal should be to prevent Reid from passing the bill before that time. If he goes past Christmas and is forced to adjourn or recess, the momentum will shift in favor of those opposing the bill.

How could this be done?

Read how it can be done, in the remainder of his piece.

There is now no cover, no political fig leaves for Sen. Mitch McConnell, nor for any GOP Senator. It does not even take the entire Republican caucus to raise parliamentarian objections, to call for quorum, etc. and to stand in front of the totalitarian armada of Anti-American tanks deceitfully called "healthcare reform."

It just takes any with authentic patriotism, courage, and responsibility to the People and Constitution of the United States of America.

Seems to me libs used every trick in the book to thwart Bush when they were the minority. That’s why the tax cuts have a sunset (fast approaching). There is no excuse for the GOP to be just taking this. They may not win but people will respect a fighter much more than the go along get along McCain style of legislating.

>>’Their Mere’?<<

It means that by only voting no and doing nothing else, it was a good as a yes.

Voting merely no, didn’t help us.

This was the tactics in case Reid went to the “Nucelar option”. Get the bill stuck in glue and hopelessly bogged down in some parliamentary Gordian knot. It would take some serious fortitude the MSM and Obama would be howling like crazy. This could be the Bastogne moment for the Pubbies, put up or shut up and prove your not linguini spined and just looking to be liked by Andrea Mitchell. They don’t stand and fight and it really is over for the Republican party, the way of the Whigs.

Everyone has/is waking up to this very fact.

I don't want Bush back, I want Reagan back.

The problem is that the 'Pubbies don't want to make the Dems mad at them!!

It's far more acceptable to them to alienate their entire base, than to get the marxists destroying this country upset at them!!

We need to tell the Republicans to fight harder, especially if we are their constituents.

It's either intentional conspiracy (which has happened before) or it is a classic case of Marxist cunning vs. "Bourgeoisie Nice." The Russian Marxist revolution was filled with laughing Communists using the "be proper" ethic of their opponents against them.

In either case, let's call our GOP Senators and let them know their cover is blown!

This really makes one wonder. If a repub takes any of the actions described in the article, what would be the fallout? Would they quickly be exposed for some dishonest malarkey they are/have been involved in? This (if true) is a no brain-er. The system has been prostituted. We need to fix it NOW! We need to start taking it back in 2010. The heck with 2012, we need to concentrate on 2010 NOW! WTF.............

Right on. They are already outnumbered by the "Tea Party." And efforts like FreedomForce.us, Glenn Beck's new plans, the 9.12'ers, etc., will create a replacement party.

It's either FIX or REPLACE and this must be the GOP's final test.

I think it means we don't have enough NO votes now, but by stalling as long as possible with various parliamentary procedures we can pick up more, the people can bring more pressure to bear etc.

Seriously someone please do something. They are just playing a shell game. You can't let the Feds have control of your health. They are crooks!

The bill is still almost two thousand pages of draconian legislation reminiscent of the worst kind of dictatorship. Please stop this bill!
