* Pro's Ranch Market fires 300 employees working illegally in the U.S.

PHOENIX -- Job hunters turned out in the hundreds to fill recently-vacant positions at Pro's Ranch Market stores, where a federal audit led to the firing of some 300 workers.

Roxanne Nieves, one of the many that came out in search of a job, said she came to apply after she heard about the layoffs.

I agree with “Americans First”, when the American needs to survive....to exist.

Too many Americans are at that stage today. It wasn’t like that when the economy was humming.

"The original point being that statement once rang true. They filled the jobs nobody else wanted."

They filled the jobs that they wanted. Face it, it was the businesses who didn't want whites working for them because they wanted to employ a low-wage people who would not complain about it. MANY white people would have taken those jobs long ago, had they not been minimum wage jobs with no benefits. In effect, whites were FORCED out of that job market because they could not survive on such low wages. Whites don't typically like to live with 18 people per 2 bedroom house. Nor do they like to eat cat or dog. These things are necessary on a lower-than-minimum wage/ and no benefits "package" the illegals were given. This whole thing has been one big government sponsored BJ after another.

"After 16 months of The Barry Obama Show, many people will take entry level blue collar factory positions. The original point being that statement once rang true. They filled the jobs nobody else wanted."

Maybe those white Americans just weren't prepared to live with 18 people per each 2 bedroom home. Minimum wage and ZERO benefits does tend to drive away serious unskilled workers and fill that gap with Mexicans who are quite willing to live in Turd-World conditions for A pittence. So again, it keeps coming back to the same old fact; many Americans COULDN'T work those jobs and survive, all due to tragically inept GOVERNMENT.

“At the car wash, the people who dried the cars were Americans. Now they are all illegals.”

As a high school teacher, many Anglo students holding low pay jobs, The Carwash, McDonalds, etc would discuss in class how much harrassment they received by the illegal workers Basically, they were bullied, set up for failure, and encouraged to quit.

An “inept” government....? Try willfully blind and complicit. On the federal, state and county levels.

And your negative generalizations regarding ‘Mexicans’, speaks volumes about you rather than it does support your argument.

Okay....I'm getting tired of saying this. But I will again...

I lived and worked in SoCal in the 70's until the late 90's...I worked construction some..and knew plenty of people that worked full-time in the construction business.

You could make a good honest living...painting, plumbing, framing, bricking, cleaning pools, cutting lawns, concrete work, dry-walling...etc...etc..

Illegals took those jobs from American's...because they would work cheaper. And the Fed's and the State didn't enforce the laws.

I went back to school..while still living in SoCal and became a health care professional. Many/most of the "cleaning folks" were Hispanic in the hospitals I worked at.

I moved to NE OK..in the late 90's...Most of the construction jobs were done by American's..and most of the manual jobs in hospitals were done by American's. Within 5 years...more and more illegal's were doing those jobs. Once again....because the Fed's and the State WILL NOT enforce the laws.

It might interest you to know that dcprofiteer admitted long ago that he is “hopelessly liberal” on illegals (said so in his now-deleted profile) and in fact knowingly contracted with companies that employed illegals.

Hey, dcprofiteer, how many of the illegals you used to pay to clean your properties *by your own admission* are still hanging around? You still paying them?

That’s exactly right.

And my point is that you can’t suddenly ‘find religion’ and round everybody up, breakup homes, families, destroy communities, businesses....just because their only crime is being here illegally...when they’ve explicitly been complicit in welcoming them here.

Eventually, after fines and a probation period, offer them citizenship.

They’ve been our ‘neighbors’. Their children are students and athletes in our schools...and perhaps dating your kids.

The focus here is to try to keep the entire Hispanic community to go to the Democrats....like the Jewish and black vote.

I warned everybody in here that this is what we’d be facing.

Now...we have to make sure it doesn’t happen before November....and gives us an opportunity to show Hispanics that WE’RE the country’s future.

And it’s not the basic hourly wage that made illegals attractive.

A typical employee costs about 5.5 weeks salary in a 4 week month. Disability, unemployment ins., health ins. are also a major PIA.

Here comes an eager, honest, friendly person that will do a quality day’s work, show up on time, sober....and all you have to do is pay him an hourly rate.

That’s what a REAL free market is supposed to look like.

I'm not going to get involved with your patented gang-ups.

You're just an old ex-cop with a penis complex....who's been stalking me on these threads for years.

I've demonstrated a willingness to debate and talk about this....and a couple of FRiends want to engage...and again...so pi$$ in the pool.

Get lost.

Gee, it seems you've got a problem with Law Enforcement, no surprise there. I guess it's tough when people use your own words, isn't it?

btw...you seem obsessed with my lips and my private parts...identity issues?

No, they are the criminals filling our prisons (for crimes against our fellow citizens). They are the leeches soaking up our medical resources (how many border-state hospitals have had to close?). They are the gangs that are destroying society in every neighborhood where they settle.

Oh, and they are your employees.

Yawn, here we go again with the "racist" rhetoric. Funny thing is, the Mexicans who are here legally detest their 'brethren' who sneak here like worms under the dirt to suck off the system. These illegal snakes can take their turd world mentality and their culture of crime and corruption and go back to Mehico, where they can suck off of Calderon. Just as soon as they make a decision to skulk into America in the dark of night to evade our immigration laws, at that moment in time they have shown themselves to possess a criminal's heart. SCREW THEM. All TWENTY FIVE MILLION of them. And if you think Mexicans are a wonderful, industrious, virtuous people then you too can take a plane ride to Mehico and live there. If their immigration laws let you stay, that is..

The following ought to tell you what I think of your post.

As Investors Business Daily reported in March 2005:

"The U.S. Justice Department estimated that 270,000 illegal immigrants served jail time nationally in 2003. Of those, 108,000 were in California. Some estimates show illegals now make up half of California's prison population, creating a massive criminal subculture that strains state budgets and creates a nightmare for local police forces."

Citing an Urban Institute study, director of research for the Center for Immigration Studies Steven Camorata noted in 2004: "Roughly 17 percent of the prison population at the federal level are illegal aliens. That's a huge number since illegal aliens only account for about 3 percent of the total population."

Former California Gov. Pete Wilson places the percentage of illegal aliens in U.S. prisons even higher. In 2001, he told Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly:

"We had problems related to the costs of educating children who were acknowledged to be in the country illegally, healthcare costs. One in five in our prison population were illegal immigrants who had been convicted of a felony after entering the country illegally."

The Federation for American Immigration Reform also turned to the Justice Department to get statistics on criminal aliens. They report:

"In March 2000, Congress made public Department of Justice statistics showing that, over the previous five years, the INS had released over 35,000 criminal aliens instead of deporting them. Over 11,000 of those released went on to commit serious crimes, over 1,800 of which were violent ones [including 98 homicides, 142 sexual assaults, and 44 kidnappings].

"In 2001, thanks to a decision by the Supreme Court, the INS was forced to release into our society over 3,000 criminal aliens [who collectively had been convicted of 125 homicides, 387 sex offenses, and 772 assault charges]."

Up to a third of the U.S. federal prison population is composed of non-citizens, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons statistics - but not all non-citizen prison inmates are illegal aliens.

As to the "hard-working" claim, CIS notes: "The proportion of immigrant-headed households using at least one major welfare program is 24.5 percent compared to 16.3 percent for native households."

Investor's Business Daily concurs: "Once [illegals] get here, they are 50 percent more likely to be on welfare than citizens.
