War on Iraq was started in 1991 by the war criminal George W Bush the father which then reinforced by the subsequent attacks by the war criminal Bill Clinton. Along the time there was the most criminal act against humanity is the long run genocide and inhumane act of the blockade on Iraq since 1991. The barbaric inhumane act of sanction by the UN on Iraq and its consequences led to the death of hundred of thousands if not millions of Iraqi children especially if that was taken with the use of the weapons of mass destruction such as DU by the USA and its allies.

The whole issue on Iraq was more than an act of terrorism led by the USA and its allies since the impose of the last dictator Saddam Hussein by the CIA itself and then pushing him to fight an 8 years war with Iran from 1979 until 1988.

The end result is the existed Iraq which is destroyed country with millions of problems and full with corruption and diseases. No need to talk about lack of services especially the electricity and health system and no need to talk about the most corrupt leaders of Iraq.

The USA in fact by its departure according to BO decision is defeated nothing more and nothing less. It left Iraq under most corrupted leaders in its history. There is nothing called democracy or parties but groups of thefts controlling by Ganges of militias.

Iraq after the USA war is nothing but sick body surrounded by beasts and controlled by ferocious thefts.

USA should have targeted Iran first instead of Iraq. Now the vacuum in Iraq will eventually be filled in via Iran. We did it bass ackwards IMHO.

As a southern Iraqi Shi’a, he wouldn’t exactly be serving as a Saddam henchman.

Don't you just love folks who come from failed nations with failed leaders and failed existences WHO THROW AROUND THAT TERM “war criminal” as if the USA was somehow worse than any Iraqi leader at any time in history INCLUDING HAMMURABI! Oh boo hoo! Please bring back our own Tyrant! We adored him, we loved his modest growing up in Tikrit, we loved his invasion of Iran, Kuwait and missiles fired at S. Arabia, Israel, etc. We sure do have a nostalgic pang for those gutsy, loveable dictators...

...this could be South VIetnam 1975 all over again. We are leaving an unstable situation with a powerful enemy neighbor (Iran). It is a recipe for disaster and our early pullout could throw away everything that our soldiers fought and died for over the last 7 years.
Iraq coud still salvage itself, but odds would be much better with a serious long term commitment.

Tell it to Barry, I think he skipped class on the day they discussed Vietnam.

"The barbaric inhumane act of sanction by the UN on Iraq and its consequences led to the death of hundred of thousands if not millions of Iraqi children"

IIRC, we gave them food but Saddam traded it for oil or arms. Whatever he traded it for, he took the food for the children who starved, so the guilt is on him.

Don't have to agree with what he says, but nothing wrong with hearing what the Iraqis are thinking.

Assuming an anonymous, faceless clown regurgitating the same old Anti American propaganda is what Iraqis are thinking is wonderfully ignorant on your part.

Hard data says otherwise

Majority of Iraqis Oppose Obama’s Withdrawal

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2583521/posts

You might want to try actually readying the hard data in place of mindlessly regurgitating the same old Anti American propaganda.

What are you afraid of? Afraid of the facts since they happen to refute, not validate, your emotion based neo Isolationist bubble world political dogmas?

He lost all credibility by quoting this BS.

so is there a good reason to post this blog rant on FR??

it’s not as though there is any useful information or ideas offered, even from “the enemy” perspective

this is merely the sewer sludge of an idiot

what’s the point of having it here?

Did you bother to actually read this drivel before you posted it? Or because it validated your emotion based dogmas, did you just rush to post it without pausing a second to consider you were acting as a useful idiot reporting Al Qeda propaganda?

Sounds like ol’ Ham is a member of Code Pink. He certainly repeats the same lies, like the one about sanctions killing millions of Iraqi children. If you think he’s so great, you can have him.

Then that one is on Colin Powell. He convinced GH to pull the plug when we had the Republican Guard Armor double flanked by the 24th Mechanized and the 82nd Air Assault ready for the turkey shoot. Then the misguided wisdom of allowing them to keep their helos just solidified the betrayal of the people in the south.

I can still remember the look on Norman’s face entering the tent for the so-called surrender and I knew then something was wrong. To his credit, Norman has kept his peace with him. The ultimate professional soldier.

LOL, al Qaeda, he’s a southern Shi’a.
He’s about as far away in opposition to al Qaeda as possible.
LOL al Qaeda is blowing up members of his sect.

Hebz’allah loving, pissed off at Israel for the Lebanon War, then you have a valid point.

I always like to hear what the Iraqis have to say - doesn’t mean I have to agree with all of them.

You mean the war started when Iraq invaded Kuwait and brutally tried to annex her.

And if there was strife it was because Saddam stole all the food and medical supplies and traded them for weapons from the Russians.

Why post this communist revisionist mind meld drivel?

I doubt if they will ever get their act together before Iran gobbles them up. The bright side is that they got there chance to build there own country. Not many people get to do that.

Not true, really.

Iran has also helped fund Al Qaeda in Iraq.

So, both the radical Shia and AQI have a funding source in common.

They also share a common goal in wanting the US out of the Middle East and the destruction of Iraq's young democracy.
