BOSTON - Barack Obama's aunt, Zeituni Onyango, says Donald Trump disrespected her family by questioning the president's birthplace.

Trump quoted Obama's grandmother when she claimed to have witnessed Barack Obama's birth in Kenya, and Onyango says that is not true.....

Check out # 1,123 for photos about Pete O’Neal... who hung out in the jazz clubs in Kansas City in the late 50’s, early 60’s (with Stanley Armour Dunham) on 12th St with the “Jazz greats” and who... well, look at the photos. Just a big coincidence in resemblance as well as circumstance. Oh, and Pete O’Neal is a BIG MARXIST...

Odinga (the Brinks Robbery one who was involved with Boudin/Gilbert-both of Weather Underground and parents of the child that Ayers and Dorhn adopted) also traveled to Algiers to visit with Pete and Charlotte O’Neal.

Stanley (both father and daughter) were big jazz fans... Pete O’Neal grew up on 12th St in Kansas City which is the jazz capital of the world with Count Basie, etc... anyway, Pete ALSO named his daughter Ann.

The family are muslims, he may have had three wives, but he was entitled to have four if he could provide for them. It's not bigamy, it's polygamy.

And yes, it would be customary to ask current wives for permission as a courtesy.

Permission was given to enter a further polygamous marriage to someone the Kenya family names as Ann? That isn't conclusive as to who this further 'marriage' was to be WITH.

And just how was Kezia to know that the woman who 'was like a sister to me' was the same woman he had been given permission to marry?

No destination shown...and I do not recall what the source of this information was...

However, what is generally not known, is that the first trip to Kenya by zero was in 1983, not long after the kenyan was killed:

Why Kenya?

That's been a question for a while. Even Dr. Kelly, the guy who owns and runs the Outrigger hotels in HI, and his family and buddies are all about Kenya and do missions there. He's the one who knew Madelyn and is on the board at Punahou school. Says zero got a scholarship to Punahou through Madelyn's bank boss who was also on the school board. Circles within circles within circles.

WHY KENYA?

Teacher Mabel Hefty played an important role in buffering the way for her new pupil. She had just completed a sabbatical teaching in Kenya and sought to nurture Obama's interest in his father's homeland. She shared her collection of Kenyan art with the students; she would sometimes pull Barry aside after class and tell him stories about her experiences in Kenya.

That December, Barack's father returned for a monthlong visit and was invited by Hefty to address the class.

There are some amazing tidbits in those two links. This is the first I had read about Stanley Ann's later visit to Kenya.

The tale of the Young Genius Barack reads like the mythology of the youth of the gods, or of North Korean dictators:

"According to Maurer, one day Obama had a term paper due, so he went home over lunch, typed it out and handed the finished paper in that afternoon. "He wrote it on the typewriter," Maurer marvels, still impressed by Obama's seemingly effortless ability to formulate and organize complex ideas. "It was just amazing he could think that coherently and not rewrite the paper."

Not bad for someone who still struggles with complete sentences!

Last 15 or 20 years? I wish. No, it was closer to twice that, sorry to say. But now that we’re talking about this, my mother had all of her high school yearbooks, too, and she graduated before 1940. I’ve moved 5 or 6 times since high school, but I hauled my yearbooks with me every time, as did my husband.

30 or 40 is still less than 50 but I guess someone who kept their annuals for 40 years is likely going to still have them at 50 also.

And you are correct, it is an individual proposition. And it is probably different in different parts of the country.

We have just been through a three year period in which we were looking for annuals for both my class and my sister's class--an incity high school in a defined geographical area where more than 50 years later, many of the alumni still live. Bigger classes than Mercer Island--we were probably 120-140 a class. As I recall, we never found a copy of mine; hers, there are a couple of copies, I don't remember whether the one I saw was hers or someone elses. A lot of members of both classes are dead.

You are correct--it is an individual issue but at least in the Seattle area, I suspect my rendition is a lot closer to the real world. At 50 years out, getting copies of the High School annual is not necessarily easy.

Further, nothing Fred has done really puts pressure on anyone to come up with a public copy of their book. Seeing a couple of former classmates sitting around looking at the book presenting the situation as being one in which they are looking at Stanley's book doesn't do any violence to the proposition--because it isn't easy to take a picture of the cover of the book with the internal evidentiary pictures showing--how would you do that? No one thought it was important.

Yes, Fred's position is reasonable because we have seen lots of fake documents; artificial evidence; photoshoped pictures etc. So it is fair to say about the Mercer Island book that they should prove it.

But I don't infer from the current lack of an available public copy that one doesn't exist.

And that is what happens to most people and to most copies of the annuals.

So when Fred attacks on the theory that it is unreasonable to hear that most public copies of the annuals from Mercer Island in 1960 (51 years ago) are gone, I argue that it is not unreasonable at all--it what you would reasonably expect.

I have my great grandmother's yearbook from over a hundred years ago. My mom still has both my parent's yearbooks. I never got a yearbook, but my sister still has copies.

I have never seen a more likely candidate for Barry’s daddy, than the man pictured there called Pete. A truly amazing photo. It’s freaky how much they look alike.

That contradicts the impression she gave the reporter who wrote the Daily Mail interview several years back who wrote that back in Kenya Obama Sr. was considered a bigamist:

Kezia seems to have not been Muslim or to have had a Muslim marriage because at least two of her Kenyan sons converted to Islam as an adults (Malik and Bernard).

The Kenyan Marriage Act of 1902 as modified does not appear to allow mix and match marriages of Muslim, tribal and Christian to the same man for legal plural marriages.

Under the 1902 KMA, tribal marriages are legal and subsequent marriages are bigamous, including even marriages following Muslim marriage. Obama Sr. would have had to marry SADO in Maui or in Kenya in Muslim or Tribal marriage of the same kind as his as his original marriage to Kezia for it to be legal, from what it seems reading the code:

37. Marriages under native law or custom.

“Any person who is married under this Act, or whose marriage is declared by this Act to be valid, shall be incapable during the continuance of such marriage of contracting a valid marriage under any native law or custom, but, save as aforesaid, nothing in this Act contained shall affect the validity of any marriage contracted under or in accordance with any native law or custom, or in any manner apply to marriages so contracted.”

“49. Contracting marriage under this Act when already married by native law or custom.

Whoever contracts a marriage under this Act, being at the time married in accordance with native law or custom or in accordance with Mohammedan law to any person other than the person with whom such marriage is contracted, shall be guilty of an offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years.”
