A Fresh, NEW PAUL for President anyone?

Senator Rand Paul has done an outstanding job as a freshman US Senator. He has stood his ground; he has not waivered and in every interview I have thus far seen, he has done an OUTSTANDING job articulating his remonstrance of why he could not support –any- of the bills put forward in the House or Senate.

We have a few historical precedents in this nation of sons of previous Presidents succeeding their former Presidential fathers and many such examples in the House and Senate.

I think that Rand Paul has clearly demonstrated... (continued)

I do not think you understand. Ron Paul did not leave the Reagan Coalition until after Rand had come of political age. Ron Paul started out as a gold bug and anti-Communist. Then, he became friends with radical libertarians like Murray Rothbard in the 1980s. He has since left the reservation. Rand Paul, on the other hand, regularly makes comments that put him at odds with Ron Paul-types.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Rand Paul quote that you say is so damning. If you want to say that, then I think that you are attributing thoughts to the sentiments that simply are not there.

End ALL foreign aid NOW.

If you do not understand the importance of defending Israel, You will not understand.

Defending Israel IS Protecting America’s existance.
And if you don’t understand, you don’t understand.

Let me guess, God will get angry at us if we don’t do it? Tell me: Where exactly in the Bible does it talk about a state established in 1948? I mean, I’m a Bible major and I can’t find it. What am I missing?

Nothing insulting in that. As a supporter of Israel myself, I agree that there should be no monetary aid, least of all using money borrowed from our kids. The good news is that if we cut off all aid to both Israel and the Moslems, it is Israel that will win.

So you support raising the debt limit to pay for Israel’s defense?

Pushing freshmen senators/congressmen to run for the highest office in the land is how we got into the mess we’re in now!

Let's see Rand Paul get some difficult legislation through the Senate with his name on it first. He appears to be doing a great job in his first half year, but there are more skills he needs to demonstrate before he can be taken seriously as a president.

Our country is not capable of electing a president who lacks basic leadership skills -- right?

I am a Bible major. I am not lying.

And, if you really want to know, I no longer support Ron mainly because I have come to believe he is not only wrong on foreign policy, and a myriad of other issues, but is delusional on the matter, including Israel.

Also, the dispensational theory that I was raised on, and you seem to believe, originated, not in the early church, not in the Reformation, not in the evangelical movement, but in the 1830s from a man by the name of Darby. That’s not a lie. It’s a fact.

Problem with either Paul is the Libertarian base or the Paul's base is going to hold them to stances that nearly all conservatives, republicans and independents oppose on social and foreign policy issues. If you believe like them on foreign policy then you think the USA is imperialistic or at least imposes its will on other countries. I do agree like Michael Savage that the US under Obama is a mess on foreign policy, but even Savage acknowledges that there is Islamic Extremism. Ron Paul would allow Sharia. Ron Paul also hanged out with truthers as his base is made of not only 9-11 skeptics but even some anti-Israel and anti-Semite folks. Just listen to Rick Adams on Republic Broadcasting Network or Mike Rivero of Rense Radio Network or any site that is pro-Ron Paul. They are against all Jews. Blame the Norway attacks on Jews and Israel. They Implicate 9-11 on Jews.
