The United States of America is over! I just heard it from Rush Limbaugh! He knows everything so he can’t be wrong can he? I’m sure I missed the announcement that Limbaugh is moving out of America as he always implied he would; remember “I’ll tell you when it is time to panic.”
I can only conclude Rush is right. Isn’t he? I mean because Rush and a seemingly endless parade of conservative “thinkers” have said so, I must now put my pitchfork away because there is no use in trying. Rush told me so. He’s not wrong, right?
By Limbaugh’s thinking the few of us who want to fight should give up and stay home next year. That will give us 300 Democrats in Congress and 80 seats in the Senate so Franklin Delano Obama to finish us off. But giving up is all that Rush can say so that’s all we need to know.
I know I’m giving not up even though Rush said I should. YES we got kicked in the ash by this deal, but I really don’t give a damn what Limbaugh or anyone else says about what the future of my country will be. It will be up to me and other TEA partiers to save America and that is what we will do.
Rush might think we will accept “It can’t be fixed because it is in the budget from last year and the year before that and so on,” but he is very wrong, very wrong indeed!
Limbaugh can sit in a mud puddle sucking up dirty water, feeling sorry for himself and, but I’ll keep fighting. I have a family to protect and a nation to preserve so I don’t have the luxury of self-pity…..

We are going to get burned out because of no response and then the enemy will swoop in and slam their entire agenda through with very little opposition. I don't know if we can last til the 2012 election especially with the constant barrage of new regulations that continue to erode our abilities to speak out and express our opposition to what is being done to this great nation.

The D’s numbers are not getting any better, in either Congress or President. I think they have lost the precious independents through 2012.
Plus, they are going to lose a few hard core leftist votes after Obama gets primaried but prevails. Someone will run Green Party or something, and that is going to hurt.
The D’s are going to get hurt again in the next election. (Not hurt bad enough, but still, they are going to get hurt).
Yes he did and it DID give us the whole show. But how can you hold Rush accountable for the actions of the RINOs? He knows full well the capacity of the GOP to cave when they have the power and he constantly reminds everyone of this on a daily basis..........

The Republican Party just proved it’s no different than the Democratic Party. Our only hope is The Tea Party.

Frankly, I listen to Rush with a major grain of salt these days.
I hold him semi-responsible for Obama’s win with his stupid “Operation Chaos” stunt (which really did result in people switching their registration and doing all sorts of idiotic things that actually ended up promoting Bambi in the long run).
I used to be totally devoted to him, but he has been getting more and more libertarian and narrow in his focus and he also spends interminable amounts of time boasting about himself and his power.
OK then, since you stopped counting, your list must contain literally hundreds of such claims. So here's your test:
1. List 20 of the "factually incorrect" statements he's made.
2. Quote 20 of the "idiotic" things he has said.
And please, don't do your google search at Media Matters or DU...........
Rush, in his own admission, is an entertainer. An entertainer who, 95% of the time, I find inspiring and great to listen to. But he’s not infallible.
Much like this time Rush told us a government shutdown would rally voters behind Republicans in 1995, and at first it was polling close to 50-50 to each side, but by the third week voters were blaming Republicans and Newt did a total surrender to Clinton, Blame it on the MSM, blame it on Newt's idiotic statements to the MSM, blame it on evil Clinton who was an expert actor and played it up, and blame it on scared congressional Republicans just as Rush did afterward, and it doesnt matter if that was true, Newt was forced to give in under pressure by his own caucus and sent Clinton a budget with all the spending he demanded.
This is one reason why liberals on MSNBC wanted a standoff (where checks are not sent out _) so bad, and Boehner and McConnell were scared of one.
Give Limbaugh some slack; he is just re-grouping mentally to help us develop our next line of attack. I imagine that some over in Congress are sweating over the fact that he feels he was “lied to”.
