Time has come for me to leave the chaos of FreeRepublic.
Over the past 13 years I always felt that FR was the home of Conservatives with core values that could not be compromised. This election cycle has shown me that I have been wrong in my assessment.
The lack of moral or intellectual commitment by many of the FR members has resulted in the end of my involvement.
I'm sure JR and many others are pleased but know that the early years were great experiences.
God Bless to all and enjoy the next 4 years of Obama.
Everyone needs a vacation from time to time. Please consider some time spent just chillin’ and focusing on other things for a while. I’ll keep the light on!

If the RINOS or squishy "conservatives try to shove Romney or Paul down the real conservatives throats then we all deserve Obama.
The reason Obama might be re-elected is as follows per DR. Walter E. Williams:
1) Blacks will vote for Obama blindly. Period. Doesn't matter what he does. It's a race thing. He's one of us,
2) College educated women will vote for Obama. Though they will be offended by this, they swoon at his oratory. It's really not more complex than that,
3) Liberals will vote for Obama. He is their great hope,
4) Democrats will vote for Obama. He is the leader of their party and his coat tails will carry them to victory nationwide,
5) Hispanics will vote for Obama. He is the path to citizenship for those who are illegal and Hispanic leaders recognize the political clout they carry in the Democratic Party,
6) Union members will vote overwhelmingly for Obama. He is their key to money and power in business, state and local politics,
7) Big Business will support Obama. They already have. He has almost $1 Billion dollars in his reelection purse gained largely from his connections with Big Business and is gaining more every day. Big Business loves Obama because he gives them access to taxpayer money so long as they support his social and political agenda,
8) The media love him. They may attack the people who work for him, but they love him. After all, to not love him would be racist,
9) Most other minorities and special interest groups will vote for him. Oddly, the overwhelming majority of Jews and Muslims will support him because they won't vote Republican. American Indians will support him. Obviously homosexuals tend to vote Democratic. And lastly,
10) Approximately half of independents will vote for Obama. And he doesn't need anywhere near that number because he has all of the groups previously mentioned. The President will win an overwhelming victory in 2012.

Speaking as one seen "laughing about zotting some old time FReepers," if you are honest you will admit that most of us only cheer the removal of certain paleos.

I am a 98, and I will tell you, people change and people disagree. Calling Freepers who want something different a troll is just stupid. I have the greatest respect for JR and the site, and support it all I can, BUT I do disagree with aspects and people here at times. And I have changed after 13 years too. We all do as we refine our beliefs.

As for saying I’m insane, have a word with yourself.
Over the last few weeks many freepers who signed back up then did not post for a few years and have now been banned or a couple who think because they have been on here that long that we all have to go with their view just because of a date.
