Testing how dumb they are, Obama tells college kids we can replace oil with pond scum

Now that the Election of 2012 is heating up Barack Obama and his Party have to build some rationale for reelecting him. This process starts with developing a feel for just how much the halfwits who vote Democrat will fall for…….

You can almost hear David Axelrod saying, “Send out Wasserman-Schultz and Pelosi to tell the dimwits unemployment is really going down the economy is doing great and the gas prices are up because Republicans won’t let the boss drill anywhere.”

Yesterday Obama spoke ..ill-educated clapping seals at the University of Miami. ….“We’re making new investments in the development of gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel that’s actually made from a plant-like substance, algae – you’ve got a bunch of algae out here.

If we can figure out how to make energy out of that, we’ll be doing alright. Believe it or not, we could replace up to 17 percent of the oil we import for transportation with this fuel that we can grow right here in America.”

“Believe it or not?” think about what he said. “If we can figure out how to make energy from [algae]… we can replace up to 17 percent of oil import[s]…” Doesn’t this mean “we” don’t know how to make energy out of algae? Of course it does, but for purposes of seeing what the dummies will believe Obama might just as well have said we can replace 27% or 37% or 97% of oil imports with algae. They would have clapped anyway; critical thinking isn’t taught at most colleges anymore.

What the quislings in the media won’t report is “we” have already tried making energy out of algae and those efforts were abandoned a year ago.

Shell ended its tests of the viability of algae as fuel last February…

This is very telling. Obama knows he is losing on gas prices among other issues.

How is plundering algae any different than plunder oil from the earth?
How long does it take for algae to renew?
If we don’t have enough acreage for ethanol how the heck are we going to have it for algae??
How do I wake up from this nightmare?

Why not? They replaced the leader of the free world with pond scum, oil should be easy in comparison.

The great and Mighty Obozz! What a visionary!

After the election, they’l begin to tell us how it will take 10-15 years to get this new fuel to a sustainable market.

Kinda like what they said about ANWR production in 2002...10 years ago.

That reminds me, I gotta get my set of Texas plates soon. Think I’ll go the “personalized plate” route and order

“adults” are a shrinking minority in our country.

Then they can just repeat their rhetoric of 10 years ago (ANWR) and tell us that it will take at least a decade to get this “new” fuel to a sustainable market.

I think I’ll get some personalized plates: DRLANWR

The Universities in Florida are also partnering with a company in Fellsmere, Fl that is developing and studying algae as an alternative fuel source. Obama knows this and is using it as a talking point. That's all this is. The algae will never replace crude as an abundant source but he's pandering to the dimwits using something they're familiar with. Look for him to replace algae with wind and solar when speaking with dimwits in California, etc.

We replaced a real president with pond scum on January 20, 2009. I suppose pond scum could have other uses.

Left unsaid is the large carbon footprint of pond scum converted to fuel. Or have we abandoned the Global Warming thing for now?
