This email was sent yesterday by me to Rush Limbaugh.
Rush,
The statement you released today has left some people disheartened, but not me.
It did however, leave me concerned: concerned for you, and concerned at how aggressively this Plague of Marxists moved against you, and so soon after the death of Andrew Breitbart.
I am stunned, but ultimately not surprised, at their audacity.
I can only imagine the details of what influenced your decision to take this course of action, but I implicitly trust your judgment that the statement was needed so that your program could continue the fight.
I have often said that The Marxists would rue the day that they succeed in silencing you, because the rest of us would not be laughing any longer.
Well, I stopped laughing today.
Their attack was effective, and it will continue relentlessly.
So, the time for laughing is over.
I think you know this as well.
As such, I look forward to Monday's program.
I look forward to a newly purposed Rush Limbaugh who's not playing games any longer.
And though the future is uncertain, and though I am just a faceless listener with no real power but the power of my support:

It's obvious you do not listen to Rush otherwise you would not be asking for links.
Sounds more like learning chicken. Anyone who does not stand up for themsleves will find that no one else will either.
That would be good. Rush could also begin a new campaign of “illustrating the absurd” by exhaustively advocating for government expenditures for the rest of things normal people pay for in their daily lives. Gasoline. Home heating and cooling. Cable television. Hair care products and services. Toothpaste. Coffee. Movie tickets. Vegetables.... And on.

Rush is a coward and I will not listen to him any more. I stopped listening to Sean several years ago. I listen to Rush about 10% of what I used to listen to him and it will not be hard to stop cold turkey. I am sure that he convinced himself that he had to do this in order to “protect” his employees. BS!
Rush, America is lost and the people who could have saved it (Sarah and you) opted for profit instead of duty.
Why don’t we wait and see what Rush has to say on Monday before making such outrageous judgments? Ever wonder why the Republican party is called the stupid party? Because they eat their own - just like some of you are doing on here. Rush has been a port in the storm for many, many years, and if this apology was wrong - so be it - he is human. I noticed he didn’t apologize for calling her a name - just that he chose the wrong word. There’s a difference.
I am trying to decide if your comment was intended to be taken at face value, i.e. describing an incident of expediency, or is a comment on Rush's fortitude.
At some point in the lives of men, it becomes necessary to face aggression with cold determination. The Founders of our great country knew that the King knew where they lived.
Had they used the concepts of discretion or expediency, then there would be no FreeRepublic where you could freely voice your opinion, or true liberty in your life.
Some live a life of avoidance; some live engaged. There are times when you cannot walk away, and Rush has always demonstrated that he stand for individual libery.

I stand corrected. You are right about him starting a tea company.
Having been an avid listener for 20 years I just thought he was advertising for this company like he has done for so many others.
I guess I was more concerned with the content of his political genius than I was on his commercials.
With that said, I will still stand behind Rush 100% and buy more of his tea!
I must admit that I was a bit surprised you were not aware of his tea. Your explanation makes sense.
