Instead of being fired, Quinton Keel the Dover AFB mortuary supervisor who dumped 9/11 victims remains in landfill was promoted and allowed to resign after being promoted.
Keel whose ghoulish mistreatment of the remains of our fallen military heroes was brought to light by whistleblowers has been force out only because was caught retaliating against them.
According to Air Force sources Keel, showed no regard for our honored dead, and no remorse when his willful mishandling of our war heroes’ bodies was revealed by courageous whistleblowers. Instead of contrition Keel systematically retaliated against those who exposed him.
Keel has been accused of lying to authorities investigating charges that, among other things he ordered the arm of a fallen Marine be sawed off in order to force his body into a uniform!
Investigation also revealed that on Keel’s orders the remains of victims of the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon, and Iraq and Afghanistan War dead were merely incinerated then dumped in a landfill in Virginia.
While it is not clear what retaliatory measures Keel directed at the courageous and honest employees who reported his despicable conduct, investigators acknowledged they are also questioning two other supervisors as coconspirators in the ongoing retaliation.
Aside from Keel another man who should be sacked and not even given a chance to resign is Air Force Chief of Staff, Gen. Norton Schwartz.
When news of Keel’s atrocious conduct surfaced, Schwartz not only failed to fire him but actually created a new GS-13 pay grade position ($85,500) for him with the cynical title of “Air Force Survivor Assistance Program Manager.”
Now Keel will be able to ride off into the sunset and retire on a fat federal pension paid for by us, without regard for how he did his job or.....

You seem to have no trouble calling people names you disagree with.
Seems Nifster and Joe the Pimpernel want to make excuses for the callous treatment of the remains of our soldiers.
Many of these remains were identifiable before Quinton Keel disposed of them in a landfill.
Perhaps if the military members of FR were to weigh in on this?Oh, and questioning Joe teh Pimpernel on his support for the illegal dumping of remains in landfill gets you some drivel like post 39

In many places it is against the law to do what Keel did.
It is considered Improper Disposal of Human Remains, and has varying penalties by jurisdiction.
There was a crematorium that was shut down due to similar behaviors.
But, you two go ahead and keep excusing an illegal activity.
I keep telling you, you need to find the guy and tune him up.
And you keep defending him and refusing to explain your defense of it.

Try not being a coward for a moment and answer this... WHY are you defending this idiot and his treatment of American soldier’s remains? Scientifically, morally, whatever. WHY?
