Of course they aren’t. I knew the antarctic ice shelves weren’t melting the first time I heard liberal activists shouting that they were. No science to it, just years of observing the radical left lie, and realizing that the more emphatic the rant, the greater the lie.

Here's whats sad, its that I agree with you.
Why is that sad? Because I consider myself a scientific freeper, with an engineering education and science background. I seem to have much more faith in Science than most freepers do. I sometimes (often) cringe when I read what many write on here about said subject.
The fact is that "Science" has been so co-opted by the left, that I find myself in complete agreement with you in what you said... the more shrill and "lefty" the claims, the less likely I am to believe them.. It shouldn't be that way, but that's what it has come too..
Even though I eventually went the liberal arts route, I loaded up on botany, zoology, ecology and chemistry classes as an undergrad, because I enjoyed them. I have the greatest respect and love for science, but I also understand it has its shortcomings, because men do, and men tend to wrap their beliefs in pseudo science for legitimacy. ...The left represents the worst of what man is. Whenever the left co-opts something, be it environment, education, climate, medicine, what have you, the left corrupts it. That is as certain as the laws of thermodynamics. It is a simple and universal law. Whatever values you put into something are the values you get out of it. Truth is not a value of the left.
I had heard that while part of Anarctica was melting, as it warmed up some, more snow was falling in other parts, so it sounded to me like an equilibrium. Meanwhile, what is the status of melting in Greenland? Also I seem to recall hearing that the North Atlantic current is slowing down, any word on that? That could lead to really cold weather in Britain and Europe.
