we are going to get screwed in the second debate. the obamites are desperate.

it's a town hall meeting. they will stack the deck in the audience with 26 year old lesbians with breast cancer that need their birth control pills paid for.

"how can you take my obamacare away from meeeee? I will die!!"

candy is an absolute leftist, and she is listening to the MSM uproar over the last debate. she will whack mitt at every opportunity in the next debate.

You can’t hit a softball out of the park. They are too fat and mushy. It will come out as a campaigning commercial and only please Obama’s base. If you are not already in the bag for Obama you can see a softball for what it is. You are not trying to reach those who want free phones in the debates.

If any reasonably good speaker is asked about something they have convictions about it doesn’t matter how contrived the question is because the truth doesn’t need a bunch of er mmm hem hawing around. If you speak the truth you can not be set up.

Obama can’t say what he really believes or wants for America because he knows it will be rejected. So he babbles around what he is trying to err not to say.

Romney is not perfect in this area but far better than Obama.

When given the choice to start the debate or go second Obama chose getting the first word (narcissist). When given the choice on closing statements Romney chose to go last (strategist).

Obama opened like a wonk, regurgitating facts. Romney opened with the story of a woman he met in New Hampshire. This threw Obama off his plan at the start.

Actually Ma’am you should be praying we take Obama care away. Under Obama care the decision on if you get care or not will be decided not by you and your Dr but by 16 unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats in the Independent Payment Advisory Board.

Actually we should HOPE Obama comes out swinging. That sort of punk politics is everything the “Independents” hate about elections. If Romney meets it with a smile and some good lines, Obama loeses. That sort of poltics may pump up 0's base, it will piss off the other 2/3rds of the voters.

Uh...the topic will be Foreign Policy. The lesbians who demand birth control (?) would be out of order. This debate will be heavy on the Middle East mess, so Romney should have plenty of ammunition.

THE LAST DEBATE is Foreign Policy. THIS next townhall is anything goes.

Again I'm completely baffled why so many people think this debate is a foreign policy debate, other than wishful thinking.

Unless there's a specific effort by the moderators to get a balance of questions I'd expect few to no foreign policy questions. The general public doesn't care about foreign policy, especially "Undecided" idiots, other than the most simplistic isolationism.

Romney loves the town hall format.

I suspect that Mitt has figured out how to get under Obama’s skin

Every question will be a gotcha! question, but every one of 'em will be based on the faulty premise that government is the default and only solution.

All Mitt has to do is begin his answers by openly and confidently resetting the premise, and then respond accordingly.

Meanwhile, every answer from Obama is going to be a failed government solution. He knows of no others. Gotcha, Zero.

The Vp debate is at Centre College in KY, hardly a leftist hotbed. The 1st debate went fine, audience-wise. The 2nd may be at Hofstra, yes, but third debate is not at a univeristy. It’s in Boca Raton.

I think Romney—unlike McCain in 2008—already has done a number of “simulated” debates even if everyone in the “townhall” audience is Left-leaning. It was that extensive use of simulated debates that made Romney so highly effective in the first Presidential debate.

Lesbians don’t need birth control. The hormones may be a reason for the cancer.

Somebody was talking about the potential perils for the second presidential debate on the radio today - maybe Levin? Thinks that interest will now center on Ryan and Biden and that the undecideds watched the first one but now that they have made up their mind there will not be as many people watching the second and third. If Ryan does well, that may just seal the deal. Biden is really an idiot but he hasn’t survived all of these years in the political area without something going for him. In many respects Ryan, IMO, will have more difficult a time than Romney.

Speaker also said that whomever the moderator is for Romney and BO’s second debate has already been given their marching orders and there will not be a repeat of the first debate outcome.

Second debate is on domestic and foreign policy. Who knows what the moderator will determine is domestic policy and exactly where one leaves off and the other picks up is anybody’s guess.

After debate #1, all of the pressure is on Obama.

Consider the debates a best of three series in baseball, and Team Mitt leads 1-0

Obama needs to win the next two debates and is facing “elimination” if he doesn’t win the next one.

If Romney wins the next or last debate, he wins the election.

Of course, Ryan will eviscerate Biden, so if “Team R” takes 3 of 4 from “Team D” they win the election.

Team R is up 1-0, the VP debate will make it 2-0

Obama will have to win the next two debates just to draw “Team D” even with “Team R”

I doubt Obama will win a debate against Romney after his showing in the first debate.

Relax, the pressure is on Obama and he will do what he does best - vote “Present” and hope the MSM will continue to prop him up.

Romney may not have perfect politics, but he is the first Presidential candidate I’ve seen since Reagan who embodies leadership.

With Bush, McCain, and other candidates, I was always scared of how they would be put on the spot by certain trick questions. Romney does not invoke that fear at all in me.

It seems that while polls have not made a huge swing, there is a lot of weakening in the internals. Lots of independents and Democratic “O” votes have softened and fallen away from the “Certain to vote for Obama” column. His image is weakened, but not destroyed. People out there are still hoping that they didn’t really see the real Obama on Wednesday.

Romney knocked Obama on his back and needs to execute the finishing move. A repeat of the first debate will result in a good probability of a landslide IMO.

I don’t understand why you make such a short post, get about 100 responses and decide not to engage in the conversation that you created. What is up? I’ll go ahead and add a couple of keywords if that is alright with you. If not, that’s ok too.

Prolly too much bright light from our brilliance.
