Who voted for Romney during all those primaries? Ghosts? Democrats? Repubs? Who??
He won by attrition. He had a small but consistent base and knocked down each flavor of the week one by one.
Part of the problem was that Perry really was the strongest alternative but he botched up during the debates and looked like another Dubya. Nobody wanted that again.
All those democraps that switched party.
A large number of demorats in open primary states and the establishment bluebloods thats who.South carolina showed what we conservatives thought of romney and we raised hell on this websight about him as well.Where are all the rombots now that he got his ass kicked?
About 35% of the primary voters....yet in most cases Romney got all of the States delegates.
If a primary candidate cant get 50.1% of the vote in a state primary then the delegates shoukld be awarded to each candidate on a proportional basis and the nominee get decided at the convention.
Giving a liberal all the states delegates because he got 35% of the vote was stupid.
Who voted for Romney during all those primaries? Ghosts? Democrats? Repubs? Who??
***70% of the primary voters voted AGAINST him, voting for ABR.
I’ve said for a long time that we need to change the primary system. From my home page:

Heres how I think primaries should be organized:
My suggestion is basically to hold the first primary in the state that has the highest percentage of GOP votes in the last election, the 2nd primary in the 2nd highest, and so on. 2 primaries a week for 25 weeks, with the last primaries being the suckup-to-the-democrats. And the democrats could easily have their primary schedule the same way, if they wanted.
This way, if a state is 60% republican, there is still incentive for them to get out the vote for 61% republican so they can bump up their state in the primary schedule.
Also: Rotate all the states (even the big ones) through an early schedule so that everyone gets access at some point to the front line.
OR
Let each state bid when they want their primary to take place. The earlier the primary, the fewer the delegates they control according to some logarithmic or steep curve formula.

Second thing is the order of the primaries should be determined by the percentage of republicans in the last vote. The higher the %pubbie, the sooner the state appears on the primary schedule, with a mix of big & little states and our staunchest republican states get to go FIRST. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1965735/posts?page=862#862

Democrats and Blue blooded Leftist rinos. Never was for Romney. I even kicked and screamed in here after the Primary and even after the convention about Romney. It is high time for the civil war and possible the creation of a new party. This is what is holding us back from winning.
In Michigan, it was Democrats. Anyone can vote in our primary and this is what normally happens.
I’ve heard from family that unions spread the word about who to vote for in the Republican primary.
Ask the state GOP to close the primary and you hear crickets.
You got it. Open primaries.
Romney legitimately got second place at the Iowa Caucuses. However, there were several conservatives who created an opening for Romney to perform so well.
The RMSM told them the ONNNNNLLLLYY person that could beat Obama was Romney! He was not to be questioned, vetted, or challenged. Newt knew Bain was going to be a big deal in the general and the minute he brought it up he was toast. Coulter, Malkin, Hume and a few others own this Romney debacle.
