Kirsten Powers hit back hard against those who are trying to make this Benghazi story about it being politicized by Republicans, saying that if nobody can cover it because it’s being politicized, then nothing in Washington can ever be covered.

Jesse Jackson Jr’s paramour...can’t stand her.
I and many other vets called his show to ask him to mention the don’t ask policy, and ever time he refused, once one vet got through he hung up on him.
We knew there and then that he cares more about his paycheck and liberal friends.
maybe harsh for him but for us here it is not as that is how we see him.

One thing about her. Every time she was on and spewing the talking points, I always had a sense she really wasn’t believing what she was spewing.
Don’t get me wrong, she was very “convincing”.....but there was something behind it. I could never really understand why I liked her, even though I HATED what she was saying.
Oh I agree that Hannity has flaws, manc. I can’t stand his repetitions(dirty air, throw Granny off the cliff) which appeal only to the “low info” voter, along with his Velma segments.
But he is not an establishment Republican. That’s what I was trying to get across.
He claims to be a Conservative but with stipulations and only if it benefits his career, which is inexcusable.
I hadn’t heard about his hesitation to get involved in “don’t ask”. but it sounds about right and I don’t blame you for being disgusted.
Levin is the ONLY talk show host I’ll listen to anymore..and the only one with courage, IMO.
And that includes Rush on my “do not waste time” listening list. His whole show can be summed up in two sentences each day.
He’s an entertainer..promoter of tea, and his frequent use of the phrase “by the way” is becoming increasingly annoying to those of us who consider ourselves high information voters.

This brings up the issue of Carville and Mary Matalin. If I were Matalin, and I was as Conservative as she seemed to think she is, there’s no way I could marry that snake?
I think these folks are in it for the pay-day, and little else.
Look at David Gergen, former Assistant to President Reagan for Communications.
Here’s a guy that was comfortable working for Reagan, and is now comfortable carrying barrels full of water for the Left in today’s age.

Actually, the last time this came up for me and I looked into it, the origins of the phrase were murky, and it works both ways for differing reasons.
That’s usually true but with Obama he “tows” them anywhere he wants. ;-)
I just had a twenty-three year relationship come crashing down. I’m no saint by any stretch of the imagination, but I am as perplexed by what has taken place as I can be. I honestly can’t see myself taking another chance on a relationship in my life. I’m talking about a fine quality woman here, and if I am at all to blame for what has taken place, I sincerely don’t want to expose another woman to me.
My intent right now is to call it quits.
People have made up a lot of explanations for both spellings, but I believe “toe the line” is the correct usage. FR is the only place I have ever seen anybody use “tow the line”.
