Time to use the f-word about Obamacare

The word is "fraud." It is now clear that the American people and their representatives in Congress were lied to, in order to obtain passage of Obamacare. When someone is induced to undertake an action based on false representations, that constitutes fraud. Investor's Business Daily lays out the calculation that motivated the fraud.

The media is covering for him. The only reason the MSM is even mentioning the Obamacare problems is as a pressure relief. By this time next year, the media will be telling the American public what a great job Obama did with Obamacare.

Obama’s base, and LIVs still think they’re in line to get something free. When they find out, to their horror, it’s not free, the MSM will ride to the rescue with tales of Republican malfeasance responsible for the discrepancy.

Some liberal pundits have tiptoed around Obama’s flat assurance about keeping your insurance if you like it. Sargent politely says it was “narrowly untrue,” while Jonathan Cohn of The New Republic diplomatically says the president shouldn’t have spoken “in such clear-cut terms” and Jonathan Chait subtly says it “currently feels like a lie.”

Interesting, but I have no faith in the American public. That’s zero, nada, zip. A public that could re-elect Obama, given his proven record of failure as president, is a public that is stupid beyond words.

I am as cynical as one possibly can be about politics and this even amazes me.

Covered California executive director Peter Lee told the Chronicle editorial board that he expects 800,000 to 900,000 people to lose their non-grandfathered private insurance policies on Dec. 31, thanks to the Affordable Care Act. (This figure — which is higher than past numbers reported – does not include small business coverage.) “The individual market is changing dramatically,” Lee said. What about President Obama’s promise that if people liked their plan, they could keep it? “I think it was not well stated,” Lee answered. Obama’s rhetoric “may have been an inarticulate way of describing what the realities are.”

Quickly, the Reality of ObamaScare made her smile disappear!
