I think folks will give Perry a chance.

I don’t think he gets any 2nd chances, though. One screw up and it’s all over.

Amnesty will come up right away. Screw up amnesty and he’s gone. Build the fence...follow in your book and repeat after me...BUILD THE FENCE.

Amnesty: don’t believe in it. Deportation: We don’t need any more laws on the books. If we control the border, the coast, and control visas, the illegal problem will take care of itself over time.

Perry wouldn’t give Matt Bevin his first chance and endorsed Mitch McConnell the other week in Kentucky.

I can think of three reasons why he could not...

1. He supports Midge McConnell.
2. He's known for his gaffes.

3. Wait....he's....let me think....I can't remember the third reason.

Better than Jebbie is about all we can say about him. But GHWB and Barbara would disagree with that.

Rick Perry is an ok guy, but why do a repeat of the failed 2012 campaign?

New faces needed.

Lee, Cruz and their like.

Give me Cruz! Perry isn’t terrible but he’s far too much the RINO.

Now wait a minute... didn’t Rick Perry basically call those opposed to illegal amnesty “racists” during the 2012 primaries? He said something to that effect. That’s when I said, “See ya, Rick.”

I was willing to overlook a lot of things given his success in Texas, but siding with someone who has just vowed to “crush” the Tea Party puts him beyond the pale.

But Perry IS a Tea Party conservative. Just ask any of his die-hard supporters. /s

Perry is stupid alright. But you don't mind that if he had his way Ted Cruz would never have made it to Washington? You don't mind that he has thrown his support to anti-TEA Party, establishment Republican RINO Mitch McConnell? You don't mind that he calls those who disagree with his pro-ILLEGAL alien policies, "heartless"? You don't mind that he opposed a border fence? You don't mind his nanny-state Ghardasil mandate that required Texas females get multiple injections of unproven drugs? Wow. You don't mind a lot.

Not after endorsing Mitch McConnell over the TEA Pary candidate

And he’s way too open borders, I’d forgive Rubio before I would Perry

I wouldn’t. Rubio lied to us from his heart when he was running for the seat. At least Perry will tell ya right up front what he thinks about an issue. But that still is meaningless because he is an establishment first kinda guy.
