One of the oldest distilleries in the country is warning of what some observers are calling a

That stuff doesn’t bother me at all. To me it’s beautiful.
Thanks TC.
It was posited that BPEarthwatch (of Ison's gonna kill us all fame) might need a little help crafting a scenario for the NASA comet rendezvous.. You'll get the gist reading through the thread. My offering is here.
Can’t top yours.
That would be hard to top
I also answer the 2-year-old’s random natter with, “Of course, darling, you’re absolutely right.”
Morning TC. :)
WoW....
I believe every word of that.
*readjusting eyes from mushroom affected mode.*
Have they published your synopsis of events yet? :)
It was very nice. Just like we remember, nobody fussed when the Mayor mentioned God, nobody fussed when the Baptist minister prayed “in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.” Everyone shook hands with all the veterans. Nobody hassled the Boy Scouts or the Girl Scouts; if the weren’t your children, they’re your neighbors’ or go to your church.
There was a lone ideologue with a sign that said something positive about Jesus on one side, and something negative about homosexuality on the other. He was trying to hand out pages, but most people just shrugged and shook their heads or didn’t even notice him.
Sally says she got a good picture of the World War II vets. I’ll ask her where she’s uploaded it.
Afternoon, Moose07. How is England today?
Averaging 75 degrees most days.
It rained last night.
The Country itself....rumblings of revolution. (Won’t happen).
Rumblings is one step up from “mildly Dissatisfied”, that is a serious situation to be in. WW2 started with “Slightly irritated”.
The word ‘Scone’ has been used on another thread.!
Scones are too dry for me.
Y’all have the hang of having a good time. :)
No tweed in sight, fantastic.
“Too Dry”
Do you put the cream on first or the Jam..... :) (That will start a fight in a Yorkshire Tea house)
These are Cluster Scones....the new weapons system.
Probably 75% of the people were in 4th of July themed clothes. Walmart sells about 10 designs of patriotic t-shirts (some also religious) and several different patriotic baby-dresses, including two with Hello Kitty, Kathleen’s favorite.
Uh oh!
What next, intercontinental ballistic scones of one megantacid strength?

Meet a moron who thinks a cop knocking a lady down and pounding her face with his fist “to protect her” is okay and not excessive force in any way.
He’s one of three such jackboot cheerleaders in that thread.
Oh, and he thinks if you wait long enough you can get the last post in and “win” some nebulous something.
What a stupid jackboot loving troll...
The monsoons are here...43% humidity and 83 degrees, only to get worse for the next eight weeks.
We got a deluge in the afternoon, but downtown/The Strip didn’t get it until just about time for fireworks. And then, Nature provided some of her own, and “about 1600 customers lost power in one part of town.”
Steam punk cowboy ballads, of course.
It wasn’t a gay pride parade after all, so the guy with the sign should have just tried to enjoy the festivities. Not everything has to be political, sheesh.
If you find the vets’ pictures, I’d love to see. That was my father’s generation, and his war, too.
