Cop's Testimony About Michael Brown Shooting Has Ferguson Worried He'll Walk Free

It's beginning to look like Ferguson, Missouri might be the scene of yet more horrific riots as word has leaked out about Officer Darren Wilson's grand jury testimony in the Michael Brown shooting investigation. Wilson reportedly testified that he was trying to leave his car to question Brown and his friend as they walked in the middle of the street, but Brown pushed him back into his police car. He then, according to Wilson, pinned him, scratched him repeatedly, and hit his face and neck and tried to take his gun. At this point, Wilson says he shot Brown twice because he was in fear for his life. Brown's blood was reportedly found inside the police car and forensic tests reportedly confirm the gun was shot twice inside the vehicle.

However, critics are pointing out that a huge part of the story is missing -- such as why Brown was then shot four more times outside of the car. And why, as witnesses have claimed, Brown had his hands up in surrender.

Reportedly, government officials have said privately that so far the evidence doesn't indicate that Wilson violated Brown's civil rights.

This leaves many worried that Wilson will be free to walk away from what happened. And given how people reacted to the shooting, Wilson going free is bound to bring more violence to the area. In fact, a Ferguson resident and activist told CNN that if Wilson walks free, "St. Louis [where Wilson is from] will burn."

Dorian Johnson, who was walking with Brown when they were confronted by Wilson, told CNN that when the officer pulled up and told them to get on the sidewalk, he threw his door open so close to them that it hit Brown....

Democrats want him to walk. They need the votes. They’ll lie about the truth and win the majority. That’s how it works today in America.

People are worried he is innocent and this could lead to him not being imprisoned. Some country.

Maybe I’d like all of THEM imprisoned. Is that how it works?

I disagree. The dems want nothing more than to inflame racial overtones in order to spur greater turnout from “minorities” for the midterm elections.

Sorry boys and girls of Ferguson, the democrats played upon your emotions knowing full well that a conviction was unlikely.

It has a bunch of spoiled minorities with too much time on their hands worried that he might walk off scot-free.

Just because this article only describes what happened in the car, doesn’t mean the officer didn’t testify to the rest. I’m sure he did.

If I grabbed a policemen’s gun, I would expect a similar result. And I am a white guy. I am just not that violent or stupid.

So Ferguson is afraid justice might be done. How screwed up is that?

At best the cop will have to move his home and family and go into hiding,
worst case scenario, a scapegoat sacrificed on the altar of political correctness.
Nowdays...I wouldn't wager $$$ on justice prevailing.

If his hands were raised in a mode of “surrender,” why was he charging forward toward the policeman? There’s more to come.

I get the impression that if Officer Darren is Cleared of charges, he already has an exit plan to go where he is more likely to be safe. I say this because unlike with Zimmerman, Officer Darren has not had any family members making the talk show rounds, establishing themselves as a new TV personality.
I can only hope he is smarter than George after most of the dust settles.

It’s pretty clear that the cop did something wrong - he didn’t put a couple in Dorian when he had the chance.

This leaves many worried that Wilson will be free to walk away from what happened.

Why? That would be justice being served. Anything else would be an injustice.

I hesitate to criticize someone who had the President of the United States, the Attorney General, the United Nations, the Governor, State’s Attorney, the Black Panthers, Nation of Islam and millions more after him. I have NO IDEA how I’d act under similar circumstances, do you?

Guilty or innocent, he must have his day in court. You mean the truth does not matter?
