It’s not even as complicated as that! As I understand it, Congress can pass a bill countermanding any EO they don’t like, and it nullifies the EO, even without POTUS’ signature. Now that they have a majority in both houses, they have no excuse for not doing that.
Democrat reps and Democrat senators who are up for re-election in 2016 have got to be crapping their pants over this.
Obama doesn’t care, he is done with elections.
It is the Democrats in Congress who need to be put on the spot. Do they stand with Obama on this illegal amnesty?
Don’t let them sit on the sidelines.

He can threaten all he wants, but actions speak louder than words. During the lame duck interlude we will get to see just how brazen he will get.
No, it won’t be impeachment. It will be dems going along with Rs to override.
If they continue along the same road, they will be voted out next time and there is no time like just after a tsunami election to remind them.

If he does do the executive order, we will know how many illegals there are and who they are and where they are.

Make it clear to the illegals that once they are on record, it will make deportations much easier.
the only reason we “need” immigration reform is because one political culture refuses to enforce the law they swore to enforce.
Enforce the law,or pardon everybody for everything and start over. Stop playing favors for your voting block.
How about a message to the Self-Absorbed One that if he tries to enact amnesty by executive fiat, articles of impeachment will be filed immediately, as well as a petition filed with the Supreme Court seeking an immediate decision on the limits of executive actions.

It’s obvious that o has done his homework and has figured out a way to weasel word the EO to make it legal..he may make it temporary..say open the floodgates for 90-120 days to encourage the congress to get off their lazy ass’s and do something constructive..Introducing the EO just before the recess is masterful. By the time everyone get’s back to DC in Jan..the discussion will be the ravages of o’care..not immigration. Impeachment is “Racially motivated”, and a non-starter..we are witnessing the death of our nation.
I say keep the turn up the pressure on the remaining Democrats. Most of them may be extremely leftist so the strategy might not be effective. When Obama says things like this turn to them and say, “For the record, is this what you want in a leader?” Keep putting them on the record for the next election and force them to go against Obama.

So the Republicans ought to wait until he passes his amnesty bill and immediately replace it with one that emphasizes strict border enforcement and deportations

It is extortion to continue to allow families and minors into the country and transport to a home of their choosing. It is extortion to refuse to deport criminals and others who find themselves arrested.

The last day or so, it seems some Freepers forgot that a bill becomes a law when the executive signs it.

So if Obama passes out ten million green cards he will ask for them all to be returned if the Republicans pass a bill strengthening the border and setting up a procedure where illegals are deported? I won’t be holding my breath.
