Firefox. Which for the past few months has crashed every week or so, after years of flawless performance. Perhaps that is my problem.

You didn’t mention the browser that you use.

Works fine on my $100 Raspberry Pi.
Of course there are a lot of things the Pi won’t do....

I’m set for more convenient.
If the browser pukes while you are logged in, it tends to log you out.
I see your post about firefox puking out, you might need to uninstall/reinstall it.
Since they did their most recent update though, some plugins have been...flaky at best.

“I keep getting logged out...”
Take a hint ;-)

Same thing happens to me. I notice that you post articles a lot. So do I. I think it’s because the “log out” link is right next to the “post” link at the top of the page. I bet you’re accidentally logging out and not realizing it.

Check your browser config to see if you're clearing cookies when you close your browser. I believe FR uses a cookie to keep you logged in - at least I've determined this is so when I occasionally clear my cookies and, viola, next FR visit, I am logged out.

I use Firefox, IE and Chrome because I don’t know when one of them is going to act up. If one doesn’t work I try another one.

When I post an article, I use the “post” button from the sidebar - not the one at the top. Besides, when I do want to log out, say at Mama’s house, I get an “are you sure” message.
I am thinking it is browser related.

Around the 2nd of April, another revision of Firefox came out. One might assume that you have it on automatic to update. I might check and see what they built into version 37. There’s probably some security feature that logs you out when you exit out each evening.
