I pray that Mr. Trump learns the gospel. He is not alone in that regard.

"If I can suggest an endgame, hopefully Trump in the end will release his delegates to Cruz."

William, I admit that's a great scenario, and I would love it if you're right. But I don't have much optimism about it.

Trump is just too much of a Democrat to be in league with Cruz. The Clintons are more his speed.

I defend Trump and there is a long list I would prefer to him. Cruz, Jindal, Huckabee (Come on he was great in the debate), Walker, Perry, Santorum, etc

I hate to brust your bubble, but he was asked if he had ever ask God for forgiveness. Business?

The article mixes religion and business. He asserted that he practices a faith that requires asking forgiveness through communion. Then he said he tries to conduct his business so that he doesn't have to ask for forgiveness.

This article is just another hit job, and a crude one at that. I'm surprised you fell for it.

Cruz is the only one who has treated Trump respectfully. If they go through the whole process together Trump may support Cruz we will see.

“I pray that he will know God in a very real way!”

Oh, no problem there insofar as he’s concerned. He thinks he knows God every time he looks in a mirror.

I have not picked my candidate yet. I do believe that Trump should be treated fairly and not forced out by those who want more power than just their one vote.

I want a candidate with a strong sense of right and wrong and a keen understanding of our form of government as laid out by the founders of this nation. I would prefer a Christian, but many have claimed Christ yet not possessed the qualities mentioned above. I am not electing a preacher or a theologian. I believe God can give governing wisdom to an unbeliever if He so chooses. I’ve seen some wonderful Christians have no sense at all when it comes to government. They get over focused on love and grace and therefore become incapable of sound judgment in the realm of right and wrong. In my observation, sadly, people like Don Feder and Dennis Prager (an example of thinkers I agree with) show more sound judgment than those calling themselves Christians. The reason is that they possess a love for God’s law (something that will not alone get them into heaven) without having it distorted by a weak, false, squishy perception of God’s love or man’s responsibility. In many ways Christians lose their way. I think that Satan is always working to distort God’s truth, and in the case of Christianity, he distorts it by separating it from God’s judgment. So Christians can become rather Amish thinking — incapable of showing sound judgment. They over identify with the natural state of man and theologize away man’s responsibility in spite of his sin nature. They deny it but it is clear in their practice.

So while I would prefer both Christian and constitutionalist, I do not require it.

The first one.

Trump very clearly has made the statement he can’t remember ever asking forgiveness from God.

How about someone who recognizes God as a being greater than he? We’re in our seventh year of the administration of someone who thinks he’s a supreme being.

Jimmy Carter was probably the most “Christian” President we ever had.

All candidates deserve a fair viewing. But I don’t care what I’ve seen so far from “The Donald.”

I would love to see a real man, or woman, who we can respect and believer in as a candidate. And I don’t think that;s what we’ll get from Trump.

Keep in mind Dennis Prager sounds great but keeps dumping his wives.

Common Donald, get with it! It is the GOPe method to apologize vigorously as soon as attacked by any one, justified or not. As soon as you are attacked by Megyn Kelly or her surrogates, you must get down on your knees, and apologize profusely. Then you will be loved by the GOPe.

So, since Megyn says Trump doesn’t like her, we should elect a RINO?

Exactly, unfortunately many Christians believe God will only use those who believe. However, that is not so. Remember Saul? Was he not worthy for God to have used him even though he persecuted God’s people?

I felt very strongly in the beginning that God is not just using Donald but also Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Sarah Palin. Do you think these people just popped up out of no where in the political arena? There is a reason.

There is a time and place for everything in God’s plan. Like I have said this nation is going to go thru some very difficult times that this nation has ever seen. We need strong leaders. I like to believe God heard our prayers for a leader for this nation after what what we are going thru the last 8 years.

We can only pray that Donald does see Jesus. Also thru his friendship with Billy Graham may God touch Donald’s Heart.

meanwhile on the Ponderosa............

GO GET’EM DONALD!!!

So yoy think God is Meg Kelly? You have a worse problem then ‘Donald’.

The article was written long before the debates
