How about someone who recognizes God as a being greater than he?

You mean someone like Jimmy Carter? He surely was more devout Christian than any president in my lifetime.

There are questions as to whether or not Winston Churchill was even a believer.

Still, would you have had anyone else running Britain during WWII?

Read the article. There’s no reference to the media. The context of the entire conversation was about the relationship with God.

Unlike Christian politician that they themselves say they would do and would not. The only one though is Ted Cruz and Mike Lee. Both Constitutionalists.

Amen to John Adams’ statement. I have, however, seen many many who claim to be christian make the argument against a moral foundation for our laws. That’s all I am saying. Adams meant religion was to inform our morality. If it doesn’t, then it is doing us no good.

I just ask that he acknowledge God. Even Washinton bent his knee to God. But now days to some people I guess being a believe is optional in a leader.

Trump has bigger cannon balls than all the GOP candidates combined.

Yes we do. Trump is a liberal. There is a liberal in the White House now. We don't need another.

So, you are saying Trump = another Obama?

Truth is true even if the messenger is weak.

Here's the video. It's about what Trump said in answer to the question about repentance. No honest person is distracted by personalities/celebrities or anything else used in dishonest arguments.

CNN ANDERSON COOPER GRILLS DONALD TRUMP ON HIS FAITH - JULY 22, 2015
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFH1ghoMmg0

After 46 seconds, Donald Trump said the following in answer to the question about repentance.

https://youtu.be/IFH1ghoMmg0?t=46s

"Well, I, I like to work where I don't really have to ask for...I like to do the right thing where I don't have to actually ask for forgiveness, does that make sense to you, you know, where you don't make such bad things, that you don't have to ask for forgiveness, I mean, I try and lead a life where I don't have to ask G[-]d for forgiveness..."

After 1 minute, 20 seconds,...

https://youtu.be/IFH1ghoMmg0?t=1m20s

"Well, I try not to make mistakes, where I have to ask for forgiveness, for one thing. So when I'm asked a question like that, it's like, you know, I don't like to make a lot of mistakes

After 1 minute, 52 seconds,...

https://youtu.be/IFH1ghoMmg0?t=1m52s

"Why do I have to ask for forgiveness, if you're not making mistakes, I work hard, I'm an honorable person, I have thousands of people that work for me, I've employed tens of thousands of people over the years..."

I won’t be shocked if Trump ask Ted Cruz to be his VP.

Carter was a Southern Baptist. I am a Southern Baptist. I think Carter was a terrible president. In the sense that we can know a christian by his fruits, I would even question the validity of that part of his life. But that is between him and God. I do know that I did not vote for him then nor would I vote for someone like him now. I don’t care if he claims the same religious denomination I claim or not.

"Trump has bigger cannon balls than all the GOP candidates combined."

Only if you're so shallow that you think "cannonballs" consist of thin-skinned narcissism that won't allow a person to simmer down once insulted. Trump hasn't stopped flailing since the debate.

"Cannonballs" belong to the man who has been fighting since his days as Solicitor General of Texas, and who has been taking on the GOPe since he got to Washington. Also, I might add, doing so coolly and intelligently, without creating a tabloid self-centered mess.

I see an apostate in Jimmy Carter....not a Christian

He, along with Billyboy Clinton might carry their 5lb Bibles, but they will answer to God for their apotasy

We all know how Carter turned out, but back in 1976, what was the perception of Carter.
