I'm a Tea Partier. I detest Obama and the Progressive hoard that has Washington, DC and large portions of America in a death grip. So why don't I like Donald Trump?
Honestly, sometimes I wonder what the hell is wrong with me these days. Why can't I get on the bandwagon along with so many others with whom I agree about most everything? ...
So what's the problem with Trump? In a nutshell: judgment, or rather a deficit of it, which in turn ought to make reasonable people otherwise inclined to agree with him to perhaps, think a bit harder about the consequences of their support for him in a precarious and dangerous world ...

So who is this great conservative you want to elect? Where is he hiding? Bring him out! Until he surfaces I’m going with Trump. He is a proven success as a businessman and negotiator, he has chutzpah and he tells it like it is. Did I mention he loves America and our servicemen? Did I mention he actually goes out of his way to help people when he’s not on camera or running for election? Did I mention the part where he doesn’t need to suck up to the Koch brothers like a man I thought might be a real conservative until he voted to surrender our Sovereignty with the TPA and up the immigration quotas for big business to get cheap H1 labor?
I’m for Trump because we need a tiger in our corner and I don’t care if he was once a democrat, doesn’t agree with every conservative point, or paid to play with both parties in his business career.
I’m for Trump because he is committed to making America strong again and as a pragmatist I believe he can make it happen.
Everyone who is not an idiot can see that the Republican Party leadership has abandoned the Constitution and the American people. The GOPe really practice Kabuki Conservative theatre. They want to look like patriots and champions of people who do the right things but the act must never compromise making money off the fire sale of America’s assets, future, and freedoms.

Which is why I don’t end my posts with “There, I said it” as if I just said something important and profound.
Kone is likely a liar.
It’s so easy to see how Trump operates.
First, don’t mind so much what he FIRST says to an event. Like Babe Ruth, he can swing and miss but eventually knocks the cover off the ball. So that’s the first thing; wait, be patient and watch him during his whole game.
Second, don’t put any stock in anything that pundits or other ignorant people say about him. Point to WHAT he’s DONE. And he’s DONE plenty. So the second thing is to look at what he’s DONE, not what he SAYS.
Third, watch how he connects with people. He never talks down to ordinary people. He talks their language. Just by his format and delivery which are natural to him, he convinces people he is one of them. He is one of the people that just happened to have built a multi-billion dollar empire. He’s a reminder of the American dream, that it still lives. And he did it by incredibly hard work and talent.
Fourth, watch how he moderates his thinking. Is he a megalomaniac-in-waiting? No, he’s not. Simply watch how he treats people with respect and politeness. But admire how he counterpunches those that have thrown the first glove. And then when he knocks them out of the ring, he says they are ‘nice’ people meaning that the counterattacks are not to be continued when they are out of the way. That leaves people safe. He’s not vindictive. That’s a sure sign of someone that is principled and smart.
Finally, look at his priorities, at the issues that are dear to him. It says everything about him. Borders, Vets, Military, Healthcare, Women, Education, Taxes, Business etc. It is near impossible to find an issue where he has published his thoughts and be at odds with it. In fact, it is difficult not to be enthralled with his clear views on issues facing the country.
So Kone is likely a liar or else he’s incredibly shallow and lazy to not have researched Donald Trump more in depth to find out just what makes Trump tick.

It is wise to question Donald Trump and all other candidates and you may be right in some of your perceptions of him. However, he has a special skill he uses legitimately and knows how to use none of the others can even come close to. There is an honesty and sincerity in it. Not that other candidates are not honest and sincere; but are they rhetoric to please the voters with no teeth; but to do business as usual in DC. Of course, the same thing may be asked of Trump. We just don’t know.
My fear is will this country be brave enough to elect the right person? Never ever rule your enemy out even if they seem to be on your side. Hillary Clinton wants to be POTUS no matter what it takes. She is suppose to testify this month in the Benghazi hearings. She absolutely wants along with others this to go away period. She does not want to go to prison and she does not want to lose her precious money she traitorously accumulated and she really wants to be POTUS even though it would be a disaster beyond belief. Expect voter fraud and more trickery to be employed. I personally don’t care how old she is or what she looks like; but I do care about who she is. So far, that seems to be rotten to the core.
I seriously don’t know how this will play out unless it is the usual BS political propaganda. I do know we need a big change and some brave people to accomplish it.
My observation is that the overwhelming majority of anti-Trump people fall into 3 categories:
1) Conservatives who are ‘perfectionists’. They put Trump’s statements as a business man on a par with the records and policy promises of elected officials. When it comes down to it, they would be more comfortable being lied to by a politician whose lies have been consistent throughout his career than to accept that Trump’s policy prescriptions are genuine.
They would rather support candidate with no hope of ever accomplishing any of their supposed agenda than support someone with the ability to actually enact a significant portion of it.
2) Republicans who profit from the status quo somehow.
3) Republicans who don’t believe the conservative agenda is actually achievable. For example, people who believe that deporting illegal aliens is impossible or building a wall is impractical. Many of these people have a strong dislike for conservatives and think they are all uneducated boobs without a practical understanding of ‘how things are done in the real world’.
It’s hard to pinpoint who is who, because very few are even honest with themselves about it, let alone others.

Because he’s changed parties 5 times and quite simply cannot be trusted to hold any position for more than the time it took to say it.
Love Trump or hate him, if he wasn’t in the Race it would be The Jebster 24/7 and the Country would be in a Coma.
They would only wake up when Hillary is taking the Oath, all the while asking themselves how did that happen.

We were in a bar yesterday, my friends and I. We were drinking a few beers, having some pizza, and other finger foods, watching the Dodgers/Mets game on a 100” projection TV. It was a good time.
Two guys walked in and sat down next to us. They ordered tea. That was okay, but it did provide the comedic reference for a couple of two word retorts.
When the waitress asked them for what they would like, I quietly told my folks, “Water cress”. They busted up.
Ten minutes later the waitress returned with salads where all you could see was green. I said, “Told you!” Once again they busted up.
No long story. Nothing to explain. It just fit.

I’m not crazy about Trump either; but, if he is running against Hitler-y, I will crawl over broken glass to the voting booth on election day to vote for him. Hitler-y or any other Democrat, Slow Joe, Burnie Slanders or any of them. I am so sick of the Clintons AND Hussein! Until Christ returns in His glory, no government of man is going to do anything but fizzle; so I just keep on keeping on and MARANATHA!
Anyway, the writer appears to be hung up on the fact that Trump is lashing out at his fellow Republicans instead of directing his attacks on Democrats. Well in order to get in position to run against the Democrats, Trump needs to get past about a dozen and a half Republicans first - each of which would destroy Trump in a heartbeat if they could. Well, maybe everybody except for Cruz.
That said, Trump has probably attacked Clinton more than the other candidates combined, including Carly Fiorina, who we all hoped would turn out to be the designated "pit bull" when it came to attacking Shrillary - as she could come after her in a way that her male counterparts couldn't. But she let us down, bigtime.
Finally, with regard to likability, maybe it's time the Republicans nominated somebody that wasn't necessarily likable, but could win. We don't need another amicable loser.
