Three UAlbany students, who claimed that they were the victims of a racially-motivated assault late last month, will be facing charges themselves because of the incident.
The students, one of whom has been identified, claimed that they were riding a CDTA bus after 1 a.m. on January 30, when a large group of white people decided to attack them for no apparent reason, while hurling racial insults at them.
Asha Burwell, the only one of the three who has been identified, took to Twitter to claiming, "I can't believe I just experienced what it's like to be beaten because of the color of my skin." She also claimed she was beaten up by "20 people" at once.
Soon after, Black Lives Matter held a rally for the "victims," who also spoke at the rally. Liberal media outlets, as well as Hillary Clinton herself, quickly supported the three students, without waiting for facts.
The Huffington Post ran a full story on the incident, implying that the accused were guilty. Ms. Clinton said there was "no excuse" for racism, referencing the incident on Twitter:
Almost one month later, however, it turns out it was allegedly all a lie. Video, which has not been released to the public, emerged of the incident. No one who has viewed it has said it corroborates the story of the UAlbany students. In fact, it does the opposite.
According to people who have seen the video, the women may have been the ones to instigate the confrontation in the first place. Additionally, there were no racist slurs thrown at them and, in fact, the only racial thing said was from one of the "victims," who may have called another passenger a "white [expletive]."
Witnesses, including minorities, of the incident also contradicted the UAlbany students' claims.
The allegations are so false that the three accusers will now face criminal charges. The nature of the charges have not been released and the students have not been arrested yet.

Arianna Huffington, a woman of Greek origin, allegedly used to be a conservative. She also—shamefully, and to her great hurt, abandoned her infant Orthodox Baptism/Chrismation/Holy Communion for the bogus, empty, and demonic “New Age” movement!!!!

Any time there’s a group of street savages who attack and yell racial insults, the group is 100% black.
I’m sorry to say that Arriana Huff-N-Puff seems to have gotten her internet start right here on Free Republic. When she left in a ‘Huff’ after obvious political differences with the FR old guard, she pulled many Freepers away with her. The Huffington Post began several months later.

Huffington has had a lifelong interest in spirituality; in her youth, together with Bernard Levin, she explored the Rajneesh movement, later dating est founder Werner Erhard and going on to become affiliated with John-Roger Hinkins' Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness. In 1994, she published a self-help book titled The Fourth Instinct, outlining her view that people should rise above the three basic instincts of survival, power, and sex to find their higher and better selves.
Corporate big bucks also got to her. She got really big money when she and her husband Michael divorced, and AOL paid her $315 million for Huff-N-Puff in 2011.
I don't recall when she turned from claiming to be a conservative to actually supporting most things liberal, but it may have been during the run-up to the 2004 presidential election, where she supported Kerry.
Now, all of the details above are based on my possibly faulty memory, except for the Wikipedia quote. For instance, she may have started the Post before leaving FR.
I will not give them a web hit by going over there to find out. At one time, admitting that you had read from the H. Post could get you banned from FR.

Arianna should have just gone back to what she originally had. (Many people do.) Then she would have no need to chase after exotic gurus, and the demons who inevitably accompany them!
