This one is 13 minutes long and I’m right on the verge of calling the suicide help line after listening to half of it just so I can write about it. Do you really - really? - want to spend four years listening to this? Donald Trump bothers you that much? And even if that’s the case, why are you willing to inflict this horror on the rest of us?

Not even the 1980 election campaign was as crazy as this one. Carter called Reagan a racist nuclear warmonger but that was about it.
I’m a Christian, so I certainly do in terms of “new birth”.
But, I also think that in other areas of life like politics that we try to win people over.
But, sometimes a political conversion is change over time, realization over time, and not like Christian conversion. (Although the new birth while instantaneous is also a matter of growth over time.)
I just think that conversion is a real thing. I’ve seen it with alcoholics and drug users. I’ve seen it in the political realm. Most addicts who succeed that I know have gone cold turkey. Other things are less dramatic and involve time and growth.

However, I think the question is moot. If Trump get the nomination, large segments of the GOP will stay home or vote 3rd party. If Trump doesn't get the nomination, his supporters will do the same. We have taken an election that was easily winnable and thrown it away.

Lets just not partake at all! It is all an earthly government after all. God is in control and it is all pointless anyway, right? When Christ returns in glory, I will be able to fall on my knees in praise.
