FBI to State Dept.: Stop reviewing Hillary’s e-mails; we’ll take it from here

Crunch time

Understand the players here. The State Department is run by John Kerry, and has been engaged for months now in a foot-dragging exercise of “reviewing” and releasing (only because a court ordered them to) the Hillary Clinton e-mails they absolutely had to - withholding, of course, those containing top secret information that Hillary still tries to say do not exist. The State Department would like nothing more than to bury this whole thing and pretend it was all a big nothingburger in the first place.

The FBI is run by James Comey, who was first appointed by George W. Bush, and consists of career law enforcement professionals. Their bosses are political - led by Obama-appointed Attorney General Loretta Lynch - but they conduct their investigations in a serious and unbiased manner. So when the FBI sees the effect the State Department’s slow jam is having on its own investigation, it tells Foggy Bottom one thing: Stop:

Any email once it’s sent online... Then it can be tracked and found.

The State Department COULD delete e-mails, but like any other server, there are still going to be tracks and traces that up to now, have been subject to recovery with careful process of reconstruction.

James Comey could have a sit-down with Herself, and casually open up the file folder to just about any point, point to it and ask Herself, is this the hill you want to die on, or open to another page, and repeat the question, on and on until there is an insurmountable number of hills, each of which could contain a gravesite, and ask a simple question - you want to make all this go away? Then declare reasons of “health”, and step aside to spend time with your family.

Or not.

Then all this becomes a part of public record.

Pretty much the way J. Edgar Hoover managed to keep just about every politician at arms’ length for all the years he was head of the FBI.

The FBI is on trial now. The American people are the jury.

It took them long enough. Why now and not when it was obvious that State was covering for Clinton?

If it had been you or I sending to secret information from our personal, unsecured server we would have been in jail months ago.

It's absurd to allow an organization that is deliberately and willfully engaging in cover up and obstruction of justice to continue a sham investigation pretending to investigate criminal wrong doing by it's own upper level leaders and then produce a white wash report.

Doesn’t the FBI have a few people with top secret clearance?

The State Department has the paper copies of the emails that Hillary gave them.

The FBI has the actual server, and is busy ‘un-deleting’ emails.

a few people with top secret clearance?................. More important, need to know TS clearance. TS is restrictive, you just can’t flash it and expect to be allowed to view at request, you need a need to know pass.

The State Dept was reviewing emails for release to comply with the FOIA from Judicial Watch. The FBI had all of the emails long ago. There’s no point in the State Dept. continuing when the FBI has completed the investigation almost to the point of doing the interviews.

The State Dept. is reviewing the emails for release because of the FOIA from Judicial Watch. The review is not part of an investigation.

I think that's the FBI’s point.
