Because it is in their character the GOPe scorpion will sting Ted the Turtle and both will die

A well- known fable goes like this: “A scorpion, being a very poor swimmer, asked a turtle to carry him on his back across a river. “Are you mad?" exclaimed the turtle. "You'll sting me while I'm swimming and I'll drown."

"My dear turtle," laughed the scorpion, "if I were to sting you, you would drown and I would go down with you. Now where is the logic in that?"

"You're right!" cried the turtle. "Hop on!" The scorpion climbed aboard and halfway across the river gave the turtle a mighty sting. As they both sank to the bottom, the turtle resignedly said: "Do you mind if I ask you something? You said there'd be no logic in your stinging me. Why did you do it?"

"It has nothing to do with logic," the drowning scorpion sadly replied. "It's just my character."

Ted Cruz will soon be mathematically eliminated from reaching the required 1237 delegates to win the Republican nomination for president. His only chance will be to serve as a wrecking ball to destroy Donald Trump’s chances of winning the magic 1237 delegates in hopes that he’ll be rewarded with the nomination by his establishment friends.

He has thrown all of his masks away and devoted himself to doing his masters’ bidding in hopes that they are not lying to him and really do want to knock out Trump and hand the nomination to him.

Cruz is willingly playing the dumb turtle who believes what he wants to believe and blinds himself to the truth that he is being played by his BFFs in the establishment. How sad.

Cruz is not a “principled conservative” or an outsider; but a man who will take “New York Gay marriage values” money and campaign like Elmer Gantry. With his masks gone..

Trumps ground game is poor. The rules were in play for Colorado in August. Donald’s people were not on the ball.

BTW I haven’t decided Trump or Ted next Tuesday in NY.

"Trumps ground game is poor."

And Cruz's "air" game is atrocious. When he gets media time, all he says is "I'm not Donald Trump."

Cruz puts the CON in conservative.

I listened to his interview with Hannity yesterday, and he did nothing but lie, exaggerate, and distort. Didn’t hear him address any issues whatsoever, just a non-stop anti-Trump tirade. He’s pathetic.

Except the Cruz cult on here doesn’t see that. They still think Ted is a principled conservative. Better yet, they’ve deluded themselves into thinking that Ted is providing leadership for the GOPe to follow him when in actuality they are just using him.

You have to ask yourself; who does the GOPe hate more, Donald Trump or the conservative wing? They are using Cruz to rid themselves of the conservative ideologs.

Underestimating Ted Cruz is the very most stupid thing to do in today’s political climate.
But it does make his winning all the more sweeter.

The rules were in play for Colorado in August.

The rules?

The rules?

The rules (the Constitution) state that the President must be a "Natural-born American citizen"

Cruz is NOT!

The Democrats and the media (redundancy alert?) would tie his Presidential campaign in Gordian knots if Cruz is the Republican nominee.

Those are the REAL RULES!

The NBC thang has become a lovely legal Rorschach test. What does the judge see in the inkblot?

“Trumps ground game is poor”

I doubt it. Poorer is the set up of game itself; #Nevertrump from the GOP. Trump was never going to get those delegates no matter what he did or did not do.

Those delegates were always fixed for the establishment and there was nothing to be done about it, ground game or no ground game.
