About Glenn Beck...
The Radio Patriot ^ | April 30, 2016 | Andrea Shea King

Over the last several months, when I tuned into Glenn’s show, I would find myself becoming exasperated with what seemed to be his Constitutional contradictions. It’s then that I began to realize that of ALL the controversial things Glenn has brought forward, Glenn has never really taken up the issue of Obama’s ineligibility. Why not? Isn’t that a key tenet of the Constitution? David Barton must surely have explained to Glenn why the founding authors included that phrase “Natural Born Citizen” in the Article’s first Section.

So that created some real cognitive dissonance for me. I just couldn’t seem to square it against Glenn’s (deliberate?) ignoring of what to me is an essential fact, and essential requirement written into our sacrosanct founding document.

After all, ignoring it gave us the foreigner Obama, who Beck reviles. So… what gives?

[ Like Beck, I supported Cruz in this campaign. Like Beck, I fear that Trump is either going to revert to his Truman Democrat past, or propel us Julius Caesar-fashion to a post-republic nation. Unlike Beck, I realize that worse than a Truman Democrat is a McGovern Democrat, and that Julius Caesar is better than Queen Athaliah, if they are our only choices—and that is a worst-case-scenario Trump: he may well be the Reagan of the 2010s. ]

You have perfectly encapsulated my fears of Trump and my justification for voting for Trump over Hillary Clinton.

I have soured on Cruz for his TPA/TPP/H1B support and his naming H1B Queen Carly as his Veep.

It is no longer who I am voting for, it is now about who I am voting AGAINST, and that would be Against Hillary or Against Bernie.

In other words, Beck wasn't crazy enough?

Maybe he knew he was going to support somebody who definitely wasn't born here a few elections later.

Actually it is spreading well beyond the confines of this forum.

As a once strong enthusiastic supporter of both he and Levin, only reason I have XM radio in my car, neither are any longer interesting or entertaining to listen to. They are dogmatic in their support of Cruz.

This is more about the disappointment one feels when they no longer can stand to be around what they considered to be very good friends. On top of that they have absolutely no trouble ridiculing those who do support Trump.

So not only are we upset that we lost good friends, we are upset that they chose to blatantly disrespect us, and for what. Ted Cruz becoming our President? Like I said, I was a very commited Cruz supporter in the beginning. However, the more I listened to him the more I started to realize that he is a phony. The kind that panders to an audience saying what he knows they want to hear, but the honest conviction is just not there.

So I started listening to what Trump had to say, because even though I still thought he was a joke candidate and not really serious, his messages were resonating with both my wife and myself. Then I started to notice something else, he was a fighter, and he always won the argument when all was said and done. I never watched his TV show, and I never had really paid much attention to him at all. I knew he was rich, and I knew he was one who always talked himself up. His love life was also known, but not really a concern of mine, because I have not always been perfect either.

Then I started listening to his history of talking up America, which has been one of his most ardent consistencies. Then I started reading about the acts of kindness he would bestow upon people who were in need and deserving, and without fanfare to make sure people saw his generosity. I started learning that he treats everyone pretty much the same, and that he is not above communicating with those who are lower on the economic scale.

So it wasn't just an overnight transition, nor was it one that was done without investigation or thought.

Then came the attacks from Cruz supporters who constantly belittled people who were against Cruz, calling them vile and pernicious names. In addition they would state Trump supporters were low information voters and were not really conservatives at all.

That was when I personally said enough is enough. Took off the gloves and began attacking back. Usually with logic, or at least my best attempts at such, unless the person started getting personal with me. Then I would lower the boom and let them have it with both barrels.

So there you have it as to why Beck bashing now occurs, he started it, but we will finish it. He will rue the day he started this and he will come out the big loser, GUANANTEED, along with his perceived savior Ted. The same holds true for Mark Levin as well.

Ted's instance upon continuing to be nothing more than an obstructionist, in the extremely remote chance that he can win in a contested convention, shows me even more that he cares nothing about this country or the people that inhabit it. Instead it is all about Ted and his lust to obtain power. He is no better than Hillary and in more ways than I ever thought possible at the beginning of this election cycle. They are both phonies, and Trump will destroy both of these phonies.

Andrea Shea King showed why real conservatives are important. She questions with courage and calmly reports the truth, attributes that once described the resurgent Glen Beck. His fearless search for truth attracted lots of us.

Those of us who investigated the Constitution we had never read carefully to discover how the son of an alien, whose inspiration came from his Communist/Muslim father, could not be questioned by either party? For so blatant a violation of our Constitution and dozens of Supreme Court decisions confirming the U.S. common-law, if we listened carefully, we learned that Barack never claimed to be a natural born citizen. He told us, in an early 2000s radio interview, that he considered the constitution an historical artifact, but no longer relevant. He was always honest about being proponent of a “Living Constitution”, which Glen Beck explained, citing Madison, means no Constitution at all. Obama was ineligible, and his oaths, administered by the living constitutionalist Roberts, dishonest. But he was honest about being a naturalized citizen. The only congressman to questions his eligibility, Nathan Deal, showed the rest what would happen to them if they had the courage to question the ruling mafia; the IRS will drive drain you, or you will resign from Congress, which was Deal’s move. He became Georgia’s governor.

We can guess and guess, but Cruz’ lack of eligibility, and the continuation of the big lie by the media, with a few exceptions, indicates that like Obama’s protection by our own government, Cruz too is a “made man”. The writer’s guess is supported by a pot full of clues, recently a comment by Sheila Jackson Lee when she described the largest database of personal information created by Democrat operatives, that will protect her political allies. As James Carville put it, “follow the money” (I’m sure others used the line, but I’ve liked James’ candor; he does what he does to support Mary Matalin and his children).

Cruz, according to his (and Obama’s) constitutional law professor Larry Tribe, is a “hypocrite” (Tribe’s description), and liar for claiming to be a “Constitutional Conservative. Read Mark Levin’s “Liberty and Tyranny”, p 36..., to learn about who are Constitutional Conservatives. Mark, probably for reason’s similar to Beck’s, has become a Cruz infomercial. The hints are in their past. Cruz was a TPA supporter, and waffled on the TPP, which his wife helped to write. His career is closely linked to his years of work for the Bush family. Levin’s law firm gets its business from Republican mainstream partners. Trump knows about backroom business, and cannot be counted on to redistribute taxpayer productivity to the same big money interests who fund the Florida Keys mortgages of the Rove associates. Trump doesn’t need to bleed what is left of the U.S. workforce to preserve his lifestyle. Trump doesn’t need a Wahhabi CIA Director to protect him, or Wahhabi oversight, Muslim Brotherhood, in the office of his Secretary of State, to maintain the flow skimmed oil profits to our corporations and colleges.

You are completely wrong about Trump. Trump is a totalitarian. Trump is a man that can’t tolerate the most benign criticism without trying to utterly destroy the critic. Give him the power of the Presidency and he will use the power of the Presidency to destroy any criticism of his administration. I think he will be worse than Hillary only because he has the blind support of so many that are willing to forgo the rule of law in favor of revenge.

Just my opinion and I realize that you aren’t going to agree or change yours. However, the vitriol towards Beck, Rush and Levin is juvenile if not contemptible. Michael Savage is an enthusiastic supporter of Trump yet you don’t see threads from Cruz supporters with 100 plus posts bashing Savage. As a Cruz supporter I don’t agree with Savage a lot of times, however I listen to his show and support him because he is a patriot and a power for good in the conservative cause just like Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity and Levin.

I must admit you amuse me to no end. You talk about how juvenile I am, if not outright contemptible and then provide nothing but your opinions, totally devoid of any facts whatsoever.

Opinion # 1: I am completely wrong about Trump.
Opinion # 2: Trump is a totalitarian,
Opinion # 3: Trump is a man that can’t tolerate the most benign criticism without trying to utterly destroy the critic.
Opinion # 4: Give him the power of the Presidency and he will use the power of the Presidency to destroy any criticism of his administration.
Opinion # 5: I think he will be worse than Hillary only because he has the blind support of so many that are willing to forgo the rule of law in favor of revenge.

I made my decision to support Trump based upon what I have found out about Trump through research. Not all of it was positive, but the positives far outweighed the negatives.

Actions speak louder than accusations. His actions have shown that he hires whom he thinks are the best, regardless of race, religion, sex and probably even sexual orientation. He treats his employees fairly and with respect. He listens to dissenting opinions, even though he may not eventually follow that opinion. Hardly the traits of a totalitarian.

Crush the competition, most business people operate that way. You want the business, you don't want your competitors to get the business. Successful entrepreneurs create opportunities for others, and Trump has create big opportunities for a lot of people. Politics of personal destruction is nothing new in this country, and it won't end with this election either. Cruz uses sneaky tactics, like he did in Iowa, because that is how sneaks operate.

Which benign attacks are you talking about? They have all been pretty severe accusations, not criticisms. Ranging from racist, woman hater, Hitler, Mussolini, totalitarian, and even Ted's latest, evil. He absolutely will not destroy critics of his administration by virtue of his Presidency, because if he tried to he would immediately be called out on it by the same press that has been absent during the entire Obama Presidency.

Your thinking is seriously flawed if you honestly believe that any of the remaining candidates on the republican could be worse than Hillary, but Kasich would be just as bad. Furthermore, like all the other Cruz supporters you believe all Trump supporters to be nothing more than mindless robots who are blindly devoted. When we are of every education level who are quite capable of thinking for ourselves. Our thinking has led us to the conclusion that Trump is the best of the choices being offered, and in fact Trump is one of the better choices we have had to chose from for quite sometime now. Lastly, we are all about returning the rule of law to this country, only your bias prevents from seeing who we really are.

On the other hand your blind loyalty to Cruz allows you to ignore the Constitution, the supreme law of this country. Let me finish by thanking for your service to this country. I salute you and all the other brave men and women who have and continue to do the same.
