Former Campaign manager to the Trump team, Paul Manafort has turned himself into the authorities after the long-awaited charges were finally filed on Friday. It is not our place to judge his guilt, but we can ask one question…What has this got to do with Donald Trump and the Russian conspiracy?
Back in the summer, the media had a frenzy about the FBI raiding Manafort’s home searching for evidence of money laundering from his days as a Ukraine spin master and lobbyist. According to the filed charges (you can read them here), they’ve found it. But not one of the charges mentions a single word about Donald trump, his campaign team, his presidential bid, or in fact anything whatsoever that you would expect from an investigation into the aforementioned!

The media is always mentioning this after saying “investigation into Trump campaign collusion with Russia.” They always add the words “, former Trump campaign director,” The public is too stupid to think otherwise. This is very effective. The media knows exactly what it’s doing.

Probably not, since Mueller has to apply the screws to Manafort and Gates. I take that as an indication that their investigation is coming up short so far.

dude,,,youre falling for the CNN hysteria...Trumps name wasnt mentioned once in any indictment today...NOT ONCE. Show me the law that says “collusion” is a crime...there isnt any..its made up.
My lawyer would be looking up the statue of limitation for most of this. Anything over 7 years would be hard to prove due to tax document rules.
I’m not a lawyer but doesn’t this arrest open the whole dossier matter up to the sunshine of discovery??? If the prosecution is based on tainted evidence in an unsubstantiated and unfounded dossier, doesn’t that mean that the charges can’t or won’t stick? If the special investigator brought charges based on libel from an unsubstantiated and unfounded dossier, can’t Mueller be charged with prosecutorial misconduct or prosecutorial malfeasance. I sure hope Manafort has vicious lawyers to go after Mueller and the dossier regardless of his personal guilt or innocence -— for the sake and benefit of our legal system and all of us!!!
I do hope Justice prevails...with Mueller going to prison.
The Democrat Party and some of its candidates tried to influence the outcome of the election, but there’s no sign of that being seriously investigated.
