Roy Moore is being slimed by the Washington Post; Democrats are frightened and will say anything

I’m not going to go into a lot of details but the allegation is that in 1979 Judge Moore had an encounter with a teen aged girl when he was 32. There is no allegation of rape. There is no police report; just her word. This woman has not said a word about this “encounter” since then.

She did not report it then and has waited 29 years to come forward now that Judge Moore is about to win a United States Senate seat from Alabama.

Who could be behind this? Take your pick: Chuck Schumer, the crash dummy Judge Moore is running against; Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan; Gloria Allred are all suspects. This smells to high heaven. We cannot allow the Democrats or the Republican Establishment to get away with this.

Please help Judge Moore turn back this fake attack on his character. Please ask all your contacts to do the same and ask them to spread the word.

Yes.
The left created a mantra, to be repeated over and over again: “me too”. The purpose was to encourage the hysterical set to accuse any and every male of sex assault. (G Bush was accused of sex assault for allegedly patting a woman’s butt while he is in a wheelchair and suffers from dementia.).

It worked. Accusations have come out. They are hoping that some HO can be persuaded to “remember” that Trump attacked her 30 years ago, and that unfortunately there are no tapes.

Well, IF it is true, he should step aside obviously. IF it is a smear campaign, he should stay and fight. This has happened to both Herman Cain, Clarence Thomas, and Donald Trump. It always seems to happen right before an election with a candidate the Democrats really hate. This woman supposedly is a Republican, though, who voted for Trump.

If you read it, the WaPo heard “rumors” about the incident and they went out and looked for these women. The women didn’t choose to come forward on their own. WaPo found them and cajoled them into putting their name onto these allegations. Talk about leading the witness.

I might would believe the woman more if she offered details as to what kind of car Moore drove at the time and where this house was as well as other details that could be checked. She should be able to recollect that. If not exactly, she should be immediately discredited.

The main woman said Moore and her engaged in some touching over their underwear when she was 14.

The other 3 or so women in the article said he flirted with them or kissed them when they were 16 or 17 I think, nothing more. These 3 said they liked the attention at the time but years later changed their mind.

The WaPo heard these as rumors and sought the women out and somehow tracked them down. The women didn’t come forward on their own and the WaPo seems to say they had to work hard to get them to say anything on the record.

Now if they could put these crack investigative skills into solving some unsolved murders they might really achieve something.

No doubt the liberal press is more intent than ever on pinning new sex scandals onto Republicans after Weinstein and half of Hollywood including the protected homosexual class has been getting hammered for weeks. They backed themselves into a corner inadvertently. They went after Fox News and Trump for so much sex stuff that it forced them to go after Hollywood too so they won’t look like hypocrites when they try to pin more sex stuff on Republicans in the future.

I know this doesn’t have to do much with this thread.

But I think my 15 yr old son is going to die a Virgin.

Why?

Every message he sees these days is if you talk to a female, you will be accused of harassment/rape.

He is going to be scared to say a word.

Again, it’s impossible for most people, myself included (a lawyer, outside of Alabama who follows politics, campaign finance law, and elections closely), to evaluate. Which may be exactly why this emerged as it did, when it did. Imagine yourself in the position of Roy Moore, and imagine that this was completely fabricated. What would you do at this point?

About all I can think of is a polygraph examination, to be conducted by one of three retired FBI polygraph examiners nominated by Judge Moore, selected by the Washington Post. That’s about the only thing capable of clearing the air in this kind of situation, in the requisite time frame.

But that would be assuming that the Post is being honest it its approach. I’m guessing they are keeping some powder dry, waiting for Moore to take a position, to release more details or more instances or both in this same vein.

Jeff Bezos owns The Washington Post. Jeff Bezos as a U.S. citizen is limited in his contribution to the campaign of the opponent of Judge Moore. The Washington Post is a corporation, prohibited by law from contributing to the campaign of Moore’s opponent (or any candidate.)

So. let’s assume the Post had this news, say, 6 months ago, and sat on it, releasing it strategically close to the election. It could be the equivalent of tens of millions in campaign contributions to Moore’s opponent, which they (Bezos the individual, The Washington Post as a corporation) are prohibited from making. All that and they can cry First Amendment freedom at the same time. Democracy may indeed die in darkness.

It’s probably also no accident that this is coming out as Sen. Menendez’s trial is going poorly and about to conclude. If he is convicted, he can be removed from the Senate before the end of this session. Gov. Christie, as a lame duck, can appoint a successor (perhaps himself), who would then tilt the presumed 50-50 tie in favor of the administration on healthcare and tax legislation. If Roy Moore is defeated, that offsets the Christie option.

Yes, everyone should wait 35+ years to speak out about a rape. It smells to high heaven, and I bet it never happened. Go Roy Moore!!

If a 30-something Roy Moore was locking lips with jail bait, he had a problem.

If these accusers are lying about their contact with him, they have one now.

I’m cool with deposing the lot of them, under oath, and letting the chips fall where they may.
