McCain’s absence handcuffs Republicans (just as he planned)

“I ache for him. I think about him all the time,” said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), who speaks to McCain regularly and wrote him a private note on Monday. “We love the guy.”

“The most important thing is to address his health and to recover. But he’s missed, I’ll put it that way. He’s missed now with everything that’s going on,” said Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), who visited McCain on Friday in Arizona. “He’s still engaged as much as he can, he’s obviously weak after surgery. It’s got to be frustrating to him.”

Party officials are keeping one eye on an upcoming deadline that would allow Republicans to avoid a special election until 2020 if McCain leaves office after this month. But Republicans do not expect McCain to vacate his seat early as he battles brain cancer, senators said privately, and they are applying no pressure on him to make a retirement decision.

A real man would have resigned and let someone else take over. Instead this 1/100th of a man will make everyone wait until he dies. What a small and insignificant little man.

Media: “Arizona don’t need no steenking Senator!”

Apotheosis:

The media’s apotheosis of McCain will be the longest, boringest, stupidest show they ever put on.

Seems like his presence handcuffed them just as effectively.

Not anything there to respect. He doesn’t even respect the people that put him in office. How pathetic.

Someone will get an alcohol license and make a fortune setting up a concession stand near the McScum burial site to sell beer to people standing in line to piss on his grave.

“Republicans do not expect McCain to vacate his seat early as he battles brain cancer”

Of course not. Because it’s all about him. His constituents be damned. If he wants to hold on to his seat for reasons of ego even though he is incapacitated he’ll do so.

>> “I ache for him. I think about him all the time,” said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

That statement might be a bit more revealing than he intended.

Selfish low life denying the Arizona voters who stupidly put him in office a vote to stop the progressive agenda. Trump should not attend his funeral even if invited. He could send Schumer in his place

Selfish SOB. That’s HIS seat, and he intends to pass it on to his survivors.

The anti-Trump, uniparty Senate has the express constitutional authority to expel members (1.5.2), but unsurprisingly refuses to do so with anti-Trump McCain.

Not that most of us need any more evidence but all this love coming from the likes of Marxist Corker and Marxist Schumer just demonstrate once again what a fraud McCAin was and is.

He’s a democrat and has always been a democrat and he defrauded his own constituents by running and lying about being a conservative Republican when in fact he’s a liberal democrat. There are many more like him to clean out of the Senate too before this country can turn around completely.
