Now it seems that lawmakers in New York State have given final approval to legislation that could allow civil lawsuits to be brought against gun makers and dealers. The measure, if signed by Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo, would make the Empire State the first to allow civil suits against firearms companies. It would circumvent the federal law that offers legal immunity to the firearms industry by amending state nuisance law.

So, if the police, FBI or capital police shot you....you could sue enough to destroy their supplier as well?

So I’m thinkin’ any manufacturers doing business with NY need to terminate their contracts and take no new orders. Sorry for the FFLs that are in NY but they will no longer be serviced. Same with ammo suppliers. No doubt that will have deleterious effects on the bad guys too. NOT! Hey andy, phu cough!

I don’t think this legal chicanery will fly.

Even the Roberts court would not uphold this.

Andy’s the kind of guy that ends up at the bottom of a pit after a good social upheaval.

“Cuomo will be lucky to stay out of jail.”

He’ll be lucky to avoid a long dirt nap.

Ha sit not ever occurred to these idiots that their own police and military needs to have guns and ammo?

If they sue them into bankruptcy, where will they get their own weapons?................................

He is a Democrat. Most likely he will get reelected because of dumb and dumber.

Then violent criminals will laugh. This is what they want! Unarmed citizens (think Whitey) who cannot offer any resistance. The violent criminals (democrat voters) will continue to get their guns through illegal channels and will thank the democrats for being able to freely waltz right in and take what is “rightfully” theirs from their “oppressors.”

Perhaps of interest. The bad guys are busy today.

This is likely another brainchild of Cuomo's handlers, trying to keep the public distracted from the fact that his policies caused the deaths of thousands. A two-fer!

So I’m thinkin’ any manufacturers doing business with NY need to terminate their contracts and take no new orders.

That may be the objective. Stop selling guns to Americans.

This needs to be fought. We will never surrender.

What SHOULD be happening is millions of business owners (mostly mom & pop) SUING PETTY TYRANTS LIKE CUOMO for destroying their businesses and LIVELIHOODs!

2 suits....one for COVID hysteria shutdowns and unenforceable rules placed in people’s laps, and one for the ENABLED ENDLESS RIOTS that put the nail in the coffin for those that tried to survive number 1.

Never mind the gross negligence of killing off old people...who are the last bastion of unremitting Americanism.

They, ny, rammed through the unconsituational ‘safe act, and it never even went to the sc I don’t beleive, if it did, then they approved it too. I beleivd the ny sc heardthe case, and decided it was legal. Even though it isn’t.

I don’t put much faith in Robert’s court doing the right thing.

Mario Matthew Cuomo was an intelligent man - he should have left his sons to find their own place in the world and NOT pushed his very average sons into the top of the public arena...

Both sons are in over their heads and have taken jobs from people MUCH more qualified.

Typical DC types... stupid with smart fathers who bought them the best ‘educations’... and best connections.

It’s getting to the point where the only way to retain our inalienable rights is to become criminals and do whatever we wish, that way the law won’t touch us
