Prayer Thread for the Election
Me | 11/2/06 | Knitting a Conundrum

Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked ruler over a poor people. A ruler who lacks understanding is a cruel oppressor; but he who hates unjust gain will prolong his days. Proverbs 28: 15, 16

With the election coming, I ask those of you who wish to to join me in prayer for the election.

I would like to ask for a special prayer for our Ohio Gubernatorial election!

Ken Blackwell just spoke to us at our Victory Center, and as he spoke, there were more "AMEN's" than cheers.

He is a true man of God.........without a doubt. And not a 'right wing religious extremist' as he has been painted by the media. He has great ideas and the strength of character to carry them out.

His opponent, Ted Strickland, is a pro-gay, pro-abortion liar, and were the truth known about him, he would be light years behind Blackwell.

I would like prayer for TRUTH. I would like prayer that God would speak mightily to the people of Ohio and reveal the truth and prod Christians to get out and vote in vast numbers.

This election is in HIS hands, and prayer is critical to tomorrow's outcome.

PLEASE pray with me!

(Also for strongly pro-life DeWine against leftist extremist reprobate Sherrod Brown).

This is SPIRITUAL WARFARE!! God's WILL be done!

Thank you in advance for your prayers!!

You have my prayers! and a request that you pray for us in Wisconsin as well. We have a crook for hire as our governor (Jim Doyle) and need badly for him to get voted out and Mark Green in! We also have a marriage amendment matter. A vote "yes" means that the state will clarify that marriage is between one man and one woman only. A "no" vote means that the state won't define it, leaving the door open for any shyster lawmakers to get sleazy and let anything go.

I join you in prayer for the Will of God to be done...

Father, You hear our prayer. You know our needs before we even speak them. We wait upon Your Hand, and look to You, our Rock and Our Salvation!

Please fill us with Light, and give us the heart to be Your ambassadors. In Jesus name, I pray it.

AMEN OHIO!

TO GOD ALONE THE GLORY!

Psalms 27:1
A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalms 27:2
When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.

Psalms 27:3
Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war should rise against me, In this I will be confident.

Psalms 27:4
One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.

Psalms 27:5
For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

Psalms 27:6
And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.

Psalms 27:7
Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

Psalms 27:8
When You said, "Seek My face," My heart said to You, "Your face, LORD, I will seek."

Psalms 27:9
Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation.

Psalms 27:10
When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take care of me.

Psalms 27:11
Teach me Your way, O LORD, And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.

Psalms 27:12
Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, And such as breathe out violence.

Psalms 27:13
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.

Psalms 27:14
Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!
(NKJV)

Election prayer bump!

Praise the LORD! O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures for ever!
Who can utter the mighty doings of the LORD,
or show forth all his praise?
Blessed are they who observe justice,
who do righteousness at all times!
Remember me, O LORD, when thou showest favor to thy people;
help me when thou deliverest them;
that I may see the prosperity of thy chosen ones, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation,
that I may glory with thy heritage.

Psalm 106: 1-5

Lord, teach us to trust youo, be open to your will, and help us do the right thing. Bless our country tomorrow.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war, with the cross of Jesus going on before. Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe; forward into battle see his banners go! Refrain:

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war, with the cross of Jesus going on before.

2. At the sign of triumph Satan's host doth flee; on then, Christian soldiers, on to victory! Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise; brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

(Refrain) 3. Like a mighty army moves the church of God; brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod. We are not divided, all one body we, one in hope and doctrine, one in charity.

(Refrain) 4. Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane, but the church of Jesus constant will remain. Gates of hell can never gainst that church prevail; we have Christ's own promise, and that cannot fail.

(Refrain) 5. Onward then, ye people, join our happy throng, blend with ours your voices in the triumph song. Glory, laud, and honor unto Christ the King, this through countless ages men and angels sing. (Refrain)
