WASHINGTON — Scientists are testing artificial retinas that they hope can restore partial sight to people who've lost their vision to the most common causes of blindness.

Truly stunning. I get so exasperated with the gloom and doom, end-of-the-world folks, who spend all their time lamenting even while there are marvelous things like this being done.
